Good day all. One of the duties of the President of the United States is to show the proper respect for those who have died, be they soldiers killed in action or just people who have passed away. Every president in American History has performed this duty, doing his best to comfort those who have lost a loved one. Then there is Joe Biden.
Recently, the Chief Financial Officer of Jo-Ann Stores, Matt Susz, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Our President* Joe “Foot in Mouth” Biden was his usual charming self when he commented on this tragedy. Here are the details from Fox Business News:
President Joe Biden took the time during a speech Thursday to express his condolences to the mourning family of Jo-Ann Stores CFO Matt Susz, whose sudden death had just been announced the day before.
Ok, so far, no issue. It’s not unknown for a President to remark on the tragic and unexpected passing of someone.
However, the tribute fell flat for many observers after the president said Susz had “dropped dead.”
Dementia Joe’s predilection for saying the absolute wrong thing at the wrong time was in full display during the signing of a bill designed to lower shipping costs. The CEO of Jo-Ann Stores was present for the signing event when the Moron opened his mouth and shoved his foot into it, down to the knee.
In addressing Jo-Ann Stores CEO Wade Miquelon, who was present for the gathering, Biden said, “By the way, my sympathies to your – the family of your CFO, who dropped dead very unexpectedly. My best to their family, that’s tough stuff.”
Of course, this was all caught on video. While it appears that Bumbles Dementia was actually sympathetic, he was off script and as always happens with him, well…see for yourself.
As you would expect, people were not amused by Dementia Joe’s idea of being sympathetic.
Reactions ranged from several memes of people cringing to critics saying that Biden’s gesture was “pretty heartless“, “very unsympathetic” and “very uncouth.” Some people joked that the words “dropped dead” would never be seen on a sympathy card, while others called the fumbled attempt at condolences embarrassing.
I am not known for being a sympathetic person. The trait runs in my family. Both my brother and I have been known to come up with some really over the top remarks as was our late father. Even with the passing of our parents, the two of us would say things that shocked a few people. (Such as the funeral home hearse arriving and my brother, waiting outside, asking “You here to pick up the stiff?”)
However, we both know when NOT to say something others would find inappropriate, and we can both be very polite to those who lost a loved one. (Usually by remaining silent) This is something that Dementia Joe should have done. Keep his big fat mouth shut. What surprises me is that his handlers didn’t have something prepared for him to read off his queue cards or teleprompter.
Recently, there was an announcement from the Diplomad regarding a personal family tragedy. His oldest son suddenly passed away. Details are minimal and of course, his readers are not pushing, The comments have all been sympathetic and wishing the family well. This includes a comment I made. It was simple and respectful.
Once again, Dementia Joe Biden has embarrassed himself and disgraced the office of the President of the United States. I guess we should count our blessing that the old fool didn’t crap his pants this time like he did in front of the Pope.
