Good day all. The mass slaughter of Progressive Icons at CNN continues. Following the new management baking the potato, aka firing Brian Stelter, as well as forcing out others, many people wondered when Don Lemon, who is an insane screaming moonbat, would be squeezed out.
Well wonder no more. Don Lemon has been removed from his evening time slot and dumped into a morning show with the rest of the trash. Here are the details from the Washington Examiner:
CNN host Don Lemon will move to mornings later this year, ending his prime-time show Don Lemon Tonight.
Lemon will join hosts Poppy Harlow and Kaitlan Collins in debuting a new morning show, replacing current New Day hosts John Berman and Brianna Keilar, according to a press release by CNN. The move, announced Thursday, is the network’s biggest programming shake-up since CNN executive Chris Licht took his position in May.
I’m not to sure about that. Getting rid of Mr. Potatohead, aka Brian Stelter, was a big move, along with a few other high profile terminations over the last few months. Licht has said he wants to restore CNN as the premier news gathering network, and that means flushing all the liberal turds down the drain.
Licht said Lemon, Collins, and Harlow are each “uniquely intelligent, reliable, and compelling,” which will make for a “refreshing” way to begin the morning.
“There is no stronger combination of talent than Don, Poppy, and Kaitlan to deliver on our promise of a game-changing morning news program,” Licht said in the press release.
Don Lemonsqueeze is not happy with the change, however, he also knows that his future employment is hanging by a very fine thread, so he’s being a good little fruit and parroting the party line. (He’s actually quite good at that, since he’s usually parroting the Democrat party line)
Lemon said in a statement that the last eight years have been “an incredible ride.”
“I’ve had the opportunity to work with one of the best show teams in the business, but it’s time to shake things up. … I was honestly floored when Chris Licht asked me to do this, and I’m honored by his belief in me,” he said. “Set your alarms folks because we’re going to have a lot of fun.”
No thanks, I think I’ll just sleep in.
Several current and former CNN employees told the Washington Post that they are interpreting the mass employee exodus and programming changes as a sign that Licht is moving the network to present a “new, ideologically neutral CNN.”
CNN really doesn’t have a choice. Thanks to their “We hate Trump, Conservatives, White People and America!” garbage for the last 6-8 years, their viewership has cratered, and along with that, their advertising revenue. That AT&T allowed this nonsense to go on as long as it did doesn’t say much for them as a corporation. This is one of the reasons CNN was unloaded on Warner Discovery.
However, CNN wrote in a statement to the Hill last week denying that the changing atmosphere is pulling the network to a left, right, or centrist position.
“We are entirely focused on our core strength and mission — objective journalism, presented in a fair and compelling way,” CNN said. “We will continue to acknowledge different worldviews and experiences. We will always stand up for democracy and call out lies — regardless of their origin. That is not centrism, that is journalism.”
That is a very non-denial denial to me. CNN has been a hard left mouthpiece for the Democratic Communazis for a very long time and their line up of commentary programs showed that. They may be saying that they are “Reconfiguring” their line up, but the reality is that if structural changes aren’t made and soon, CNN will collapse and go off the air. Squeezing Don’s Lemons is just the latest sign that change is in the air. As to what happens next?
