Hello, this is the Angry Systems Administrator. I’ve been working with the blithering, paranoid idiot known as the Angry Webmaster on the back end of the blog. As you know, we had to change the user interface, (The look), of the Blog when the theme we were using was no longer supported.
We’re now starting to take a look at the comments section. We’ve been using Disqus for years, however, they’ve started, (Or at least we’ve noticed), that they’re now putting large and rather intrusive ads onto our site. We use the free version because we’re cheap and poor. (Thank you Joe Biden)
I’m starting to dig into what’s available to us and will be testing various comment systems on a secret, unidentified and hidden location. I don’t know when we will make the switch, but I think it’s going to happen now.
I’ve looked at the comments section of the Anti-Idiotartian Rottweiler, and that one seems rather interesting. We may also require registration, although I haven’t worked out how we will implement and handle that. We definitely need something to deal with all the spam.
