Good day all. Hollywierd has been known to drop major bombs on the movie and television audiences. These are films that cost tens of millions to make and earned back significantly less. Some were so bad that they were never releases, such as the Batdyke Batgirl, which was so woke that Warner Brothers canceled it even though it had already been scheduled for release. Then we have the documentary that Alexandria Occasional-Cortex had a hand in making
This movie was so bad that It earned an average of $80 per theater. Here are the details from Fox News:
The disastrous performance of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s climate change documentary at the box office over the weekend, (December 8-12), reminded her critics of one thing: She doesn’t do her actual job in Congress.
AOC enjoys all the perks of her job. She attends flashy galas, is on magazine covers, has done multiple friendly interviews and now has helped produce a film, “To the End,” co-host Greg Gutfeld pointed out Tuesday on “The Five.” But Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., accomplishes nothing in Congress, and Gutfeld said it’s “no surprise” her film flopped, generating only $80 per theater.
“Who would go see a movie that’s the opposite of entertaining? There’s nothing entertaining about that. … But it does show you how great it is to be a progressive in a liberal, biased culture,” he said. “She really doesn’t do her job, right? She makes movies, she goes to galas. She sits for glossy, butt-kissing interviews in GQ and other women’s mags.”
AOC is much like Obama in this. Obama hated doing his actual job. He would rather play golf, go on vacations and issue decrees then actually handle the day to day drudgery that is being the chief administrator of the United States of America. (Biden just does what he’s told and signs whatever they put in front of him) Being in a movie for her is a lot more fun then speaking with her constituents, studying legislation or attending committee hearings.
Co-host Jesse Watters remarked Ocasio-Cortez is seen hiking in the film, pointing out he has never seen her engage as much with the outdoors in real life and adding that her popularity appears to be tied more to politics as opposed to “real life” given her film’s paltry revenue.
AOC is a dyed in the wool city girl. For her, the suburbs are considered “The Wilderness.” Going out into an actual forest? According to the “Official Alexandria Occasional Cortex Map” everything outside of the Beltway has warning tags that say “Here be Dragons! Beware!!”
Would I go to it? No. Have I seen it? No. Will I talk about it? Yes,” he said.
“This is what politicians often get confused about: Just because you’re popular in politics doesn’t mean you’re popular anywhere else. In fact, usually people that can’t do anything anywhere else go into politics to succeed. And she found out that the hard way.”
Watters said the hiking scenes gives some “fraudulen[ce]” to the film, quipping that AOC grew up in Westchester and represents the outer boroughs of Queens and the Bronx.
I see someone else noticed that AOC has zero knowledge of actual rural areas. Hell, she’d probably get lost in Central Park if she didn’t have GPS on her phone.
Judge Jeanine Pirro, who once represented Westchester as its Republican district attorney, said AOC’s film is “cringeworthy.”
Judge Pirro actually went and saw it? I’m impressed! That or she’s a closet masochist. As to the actual “film”, it’s the usual load of horseshit you have come to expect from the Progressives.
“To the End” was filmed over the course of four years and follows four young women — Ocasio-Cortez, activist Varshini Prakash, climate policy writer Rhiana Gunn-Wright and political strategist Alexandra Rojas — as they attempt to pass sweeping climate change legislation in Congress.
Ahh yes, AOC and her socialist totalitarian dream of the “Green New Deal.” That nutty idea would both bankrupt the United States and tear up the Constitution. Sadly, since the Deep State installed that moron Joe Bumbles Dementia Biden in office, they have been pushing this crap down America’s throats using the regulatory agencies. Of course, people and states are pushing back. One of the ways they’ve been doing so is by not seeing this “Documentary, starting one of the dumber members of congress.
The film currently boasts an 88% “fresh” critic score on Rotten Tomatoes and does not yet have an audience score.
It’s hard to get an audience score when you don’t have an audience. Now, if Alexandria Occasional-Cortex wants to start making movies, she should do films that people might actually want to see.
There is no denying that AOC is a physically attractive woman. The issues with her only start when she opens her mouth and starts talking. Then her core ugliness and stupidity comes into being. I’m of the opinion that if she wants to do films, she should do porn.
She does have the body for it and a lot more people would pay to see her “work.” She would certainly command a high salary. Perhaps she can do a few films with Maitland Ward. She would certainly be a lot more productive than she is in the House of Representatives and would certainly be “servicing” more people then she currently does.
