Good day all. For the first two years of the administration of the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump, we saw him being falsely accused of being a Russian agent. This was all based on the infamous “Russian Dossier” that turned out to be nothing more then opposition research paid for by Felonia von Pantsuit.
We saw massive abuses by the FBI and other agencies that wanted to destroy President Trump. It amounted to a flat out coup attempt, and it’s still ongoing. However, the investigation backfired massively on the FBI and the Deep State, with a number of federal agents forced to resign or be fired. Now another one has been arrested working as an agent of a Russian oligarch. Here are the details from Fox News:
A former senior FBI counterintelligence official who reportedly was involved in the Trump-Russia probe was arrested and charged over his own alleged ties to a sanctioned Russian oligarch amid the war in Ukraine.
Charles McGonigal, the former special agent in charge of the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division in New York who retired in 2018, is charged with violating U.S. sanctions by agreeing to provide services to Oleg Deripaska, a sanctioned Russian oligarch. He was charged alongside Sergey Shestakov, a former Soviet and Russian diplomat who later became a U.S. citizen and a Russian interpreter for courts and government offices, through a five-count indictment unsealed in Manhattan federal court Monday.
McGonigal was arrested last Saturday, (January 20th) along with Shestakov. Apparently, this isn’t something that usually happens.
The indictment is a rare move by federal prosecutors to bring charges against a former senior FBI official before a federal grand jury.
I wonder why they chose to go after him? He was part of the Deep State Conspiracy to “Get Trump!” after all. Perhaps he’s being punished for failing to overthrow President Trump?
Though not referenced in or related to the indictment, McGonigal, while serving as chief of the cybercrimes section at FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C., was one of the first bureau officials to learn of allegations that George Papadopoulos, a campaign adviser for former President Donald Trump, boasted that he knew Russians had dirt on Hillary Clinton, launching the investigation into alleged Russian election interference known as Operation Crossfire Hurricane, Business Insider previously reported. Fox News is told that as a senior counterintelligence official at the time, he likely was briefed on Crossfire Hurricane at the time the investigation was launched.
That the Russians have dirt on Felonia von Pantsuit is a given. They, along with everyone else on Earth, hacked her illegal bathroom mail server and downloaded tons of classified documents and and communications. As for George Papadopoulos, he was one of the first of the Trump Supporters to be railroaded on trumped up charges. (No pun intended)
Both men are charged with one count of conspiring to violate and evade U.S. sanctions, in violation of the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (“IEEPA”), one count of violating the IEEPA, one count of conspiring to commit money laundering, and one count of money laundering, each of which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. Shestakov is also charged with one count of making false statements, which carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison, prosecutors said.
Frankly, I don’t give a damn about this Shestakov guy. I’m far more interested in McGonigal. That the Deep State is going after him, rather then warning him off early on regarding his “relationship” with the Russians makes me wonder just how long he was actually working for them. The Fox Story goes on to detail the charges, and it makes interesting reading. There is no question that McGonigal would have known that he shouldn’t have been doing what he did. The sanctions started back under the Second Worst President in American History, Barack Obama.
It was then-President Barack Obama who in 2014 issued Executive Order 13660, which declared a national emergency with respect to the situation in Ukraine following the annexation of Crimea.
The details of what the former FBI agent did makes me think he’s been dirty and corrupt for a very long time. I wonder if he knew Whitey Bulger? For those of you who don’t know, Bulger was a criminal who basically corrupted the entire Boston office of the FBI back in the day. (Yet another reason to never trust the FBI)
Now it’s in the hands of the courts. I wonder if McGonigal might have something to trade for a plea deal? Would it be information on others in the DoJ and FBI who were manufacturing evidence against President Trump and his supporters? If so, will he be Epsteined?
