Good day all. No sooner do I post something about Dementia Joe Biden not wanting to shoot down the Chinese spy balloon, then news comes out that they finally took it down.
Of course, the Moron in Chief ordered it down after the system had completed it’s mission, but hey, here was a chance for Bumbles Biden to prove he has what it takes to order an attack on…a balloon. Here are the details from Fox News:
President Joe Biden said shortly after the U.S. military shot down a Chinese spy balloon that he gave the order to shoot it down on Wednesday but that military officials waited until Saturday to do so.
“I ordered the Pentagon to shoot it down on Wednesday as soon as possible,” Biden told reporters on Saturday. “They decided without doing any damage to people on the ground they decided that the best time to do that was when it got over water outside within a 12 mile limit.”

“They successfully took it down and I want to compliment our aviators who did it and we’ll have more to report on a little later.”
Oh I’m sure the pilots are just so happy that the Senile Idiot told them they had done an excellent job in shooting down that incredibly unagile balloon. Why there is a good chance that the pilots might have fallen asleep due to all the excitement.
Biden added, “I told them to shoot it down on Wednesday. They said to me let’s wait for the safest place to do it.”

You will have to excuse me if no one believes this for a minute. You are prone to not telling the truth about anything after all.
Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin also acknowledged that the order was given to the military on Wednesday and that the military decided to wait.
“On Wednesday, President Biden gave his authorization to take down the surveillance balloon as soon as the mission could be accomplished without undue risk to American lives under the balloon’s path,” Lloyd said.
The way I see it, this is one of two things. Either Austin is covering for Biden, or he is working for the Chinese Communists. This thing could have been shot down over Alaska when it was first spotted and the only risk would be dropping this on a Kodiak bear. Then they had additional locations in Montana and Idaho. Considering Austin’s actions over the last two years, either answer is probably the correct one.
“After careful analysis, U.S. military commanders had determined downing the balloon while over land posed an undue risk to people across a wide area due to the size and altitude of the balloon and its surveillance payload”
You know, I would love to know if any studies have been done on any collateral damage occurring on the ground during air battles. We have the Battle of Britain where both sides were laying down huge amounts of machinegun and cannon fire, both air to air and ground to air. Then we have the air battles over Germany, and Iraq unloading everything they had during Gulf War 1 and Gulf War 2. While there was some damage in Baghdad, I don’t recall there being all that much unless it was a SAM that didn’t self destruct when it ran out of fuel. I’ll let those who know more comment below.
Biden has faced intense scrutiny from Republicans, including former President Donald Trump, for waiting days to shoot down the balloon as it hovered across sensitive military locations across the United States.
Without question, if the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump, were still in office, polar bears would be playing with what was left of the balloon.

Fox News Digital confirmed on Saturday afternoon that the Chinese balloon was shot down off the coast of South Carolina after the FAA issued a ground stop for flights at three airports across North and South Carolina.
That makes sense of course, probably the only part of this entire debacle that does. I’ve heard from someone who is retired Navy that it was an F-22 and it used a Sidewinder missile. That makes me wonder who dreamed that up? The Sidewinder is a heat seeking missile and balloons don’t generate a lot of heat. (Hot air balloons do of course) Then there is the cost of the missile itself.
Finally, it would have to be a proximity shot and not a direct hit. If the missile had hit the balloon, I suspect it would have blasted right through without exploding. A proximity shot would have caused blast and lots of fragments would have been thrown into the balloon. I think using a simple 20mm cannon would have bee much more cost effective.

In any case, the damn thing is sleeping with the fishes, at least until the Chinese recover it. Oh wait! You thought China Joe was going to send out Navy divers to get that thing? You must be joking. This fiasco is just the latest in a long line of screw ups from the worst president* in American history. Now it’s time for the white washing to begin.
