Good day all. Now that the new house of Representatives has been impaneled, they have begun cleaning up the mess left by the previous House. One of the “Big Deals” was the phony January 6th committee which “investigated” the protests that happened January 6th 2021 in Washington.
The committee has been discredited and the two “Republicans” on the committee are out of office. One quit and the other, Lizard Cheney, was blasted out by the voters. The hearings were so one sided that it was nothing more than a star chamber proceeding to “Get Trump!” by any means. The committee suppressed evidence of what happened that day, including all the videos from government and private cameras. Now that footage is being released. Here are the details from American Greatness:
According to an exclusive posted on Axios today, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) has turned over the full trove of surveillance video captured by Capitol police security cameras on January 6 to Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
“Carlson TV producers were on Capitol Hill last week to begin digging through the trove, which includes multiple camera angles from all over Capitol grounds,” Mike Allen reported. “Excerpts will begin airing in the coming weeks.”
That is a lot of footage. It’s going to take weeks to comb through all the videos, however, I understand some of it has already been viewed in a court case against one of the people who was there that day. What it showed blew apart the Progressive narrative, and that was only a small part of what was shown. (I have a vague memory of the case and I think the defendant was acquitted. McCarthy told reporters on January 12 that he supported making the tapes public. “I think the American public should see all what happened instead of a report that’s written for a political basis,” McCarthy said, referring to the January 6 select committee’s final report.
In March 2021, the Justice Department designated the footage as “highly sensitive government material” subject to strict protective orders. Defendants and their lawyers have complained about lack of access to the surveillance video; a digital platform to archive all footage was delayed for months. Those protective orders, however, did not apply to House Democrats, who accessed surveillance clips to use in the second impeachment of Donald Trump and the January 6 select committee.
The rumors on the videos is that they show federal agents acting as “Agents provocateurs” and encouraging people to go into the Capitol building. This includes officers pulling back fences and opening locked doors. If this is true, all the cases against these people become suspect. Of course, the Democrats on that fake committee are utterly opposed to the release of the video footage. I’ll have more on that in another post. It is nice to see McCarthy actually doing the right thing. Most people expected him to fold like a cheap suit to the Deep State once he became Speaker of the House.
