Good day all. Many people have been ripping Marketing VP Alissa Heinerscheid for destroying the Budweiser brand with her “Year of the fake Woman” campaign, others are very happy with it.

These are competitors of Anheuser-Busch and as Anheuser-Busch’s stock price has been sinking beneath the waves, their stock value has been climbing. Here are the details from the Federalist Papers:
Molson Coors Beverage Co., the parent company of Coors, experienced a nearly 9% increase in share price after Bud Light, a rival beer company, announced its partnership with transgender social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney for an ad campaign that stirred controversy across the nation. Molson Coors’ stock price climbed from $51.68 to $56.25 per share following the campaign announcement.
I wonder if Molson will be offering Heinerscheid a nice fruit basket for helping out their company at the expense of the company she was actually working for? It would be a nice dig, and I’m sure she could use the fruit, since she’s now taking a leave of absence to work on her resume.
The ad campaign, however, faced backlash from conservatives who argued that the partnership tarnished the iconic American beer brand.
A backlash would be a serious understatement. Absolute disgust would be more appropriate.
Calls to boycott Bud Light ensued, with celebrities like Kid Rock and country singer Travis Tritt joining in.
Kid Rock, who, while I have heard of him, is not someone I’ve really paid any attention to…ever, showed what he thought of Anheuser-Busch’s brilliantly disastrous add campaign.

GOP Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene also announced her switch from Bud Light to Coors, posting a photo of a 24-can case of Coors Light on Twitter and quipping, “I would have bought the king of beers, but it changed its gender to the queen of beers.”
Of course, there are people who are saying that Coors has done the same thing. From what I saw, it wasn’t anything more then doing the usual corporate woke crap of providing some assets to a parade or something. That is a far cry from flat out insulting your customer base.
Now, for my usual due diligence. I don’t drink either Anheuser-Busch or Molson products. I prefer beer with some actual flavor to it, and generally go for bocks and porters, not this stuff. Speaking of which, I think I need to put some quality beer in the fridge. As for Budweiser? As I’ve said before, it needs to be run through the Clydesdales it it originally came from.
