Good day all. It seems that the Sudan is once again blowing up. The State Department has taken the precaution of evacuating all of their embassy personnel. As for the 16K Americans still there? The Maladministration, repeating Afghanistan is saying “Sucks to be you, Bye!”
The Biden Bug Out from Afghanistan ranks right down there with the Fall of Saigon on American foreign policy disasters. In Vietnam though, we did get all the Americans out that wanted to leave, so far as I recall. In Afghanistan, Blinken, Biden and Milley flat out abandoned American citizens and then lied about it. (They’re still lying) Now with the Sudan, they aren’t even bothering to say “Oh sure! We will save you.” Here are the details from the Washington Free Beacon:
State Department Won’t Evacuate American Citizens from Sudan As Conflict Intensifies.
‘We don’t foresee coordinating a U.S. Government evacuation for our fellow citizens’
The State Department says that it has no plans to evacuate the 16,000 American citizens in Sudan as fighting between the country’s military leaders plunges the country further into chaos.
Nice to see that the State Department finally admitting that if you are an American in a foreign country, you are own your own. I’ve always assumed this was the case of course.
The U.S. military on Saturday evacuated the 100 officials working at the U.S. embassy in Khartoum, citing danger to embassy staff. But speaking to reporters over the weekend, a State Department official said that evacuation efforts would not extend to civilians.
“As a result of that uncertain security picture, as a result of the unavailability of the civilian airport, we don’t foresee coordinating a U.S. Government evacuation for our fellow citizens in Sudan at this time or in the coming days,” undersecretary for management Ambassador John Bass told reporters over the weekend. “We don’t anticipate those security conditions are going to change in the near term.”
Once again, we’re seeing the sheer incompetence and gutless cowardice of the Biden Maladministration. There is no question that had the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump, had been in office, he would have made sure that every American who wanted to leave would be able to, and he would have put sufficient forces in place to hold the evacuation centers, and make sure the belligerents got the message to stay out of the way.
Saturday’s evacuation was conducted without the approval of Sudan’s Rapid Security Forces, which comprise one side of the warring military factions.
“They cooperated to the extent that they did not fire on our service members in the course of the operation,” Bass said. “I would submit that’s as much in their self-interest as anything else.”
Why? Were they worried the US military would actually be allowed to open fire on the thugs if they did anything? Or was it in their self interests to not fire and save money on ammunition? They certainly aren’t worried about what Bumbles Dementia Biden would do.
American citizens who want to flee the country have limited options at this time, according to Lieutenant General D.A. Sims, director of operations for Joint Staff J3, which coordinated the embassy evacuation.
They have limited options for a reason. They are being abandoned by the Democrats, again. I wonder if General Sims was on board with this decision to abandon American Citizens? I suspect he’s another of the political generals who may not be worth the stars on his shoulders. I hope I am wrong.
The U.S. military is eying plans to “potentially make the overland route out of Sudan potentially more viable,” Sims said. The Pentagon is currently “considering actions that may include: use of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities to be able to observe routes and detect threats.”
Naval assets could also be deployed outside the Port of Sudan to help Americans who arrive at that location, Sims said.
I suspect General Sims is not happy with his orders. However, he has to deal with the pantywaists, snobs and idiots that have infested the State Department since Teddy Roosevelt left office.
Still, the State Department maintains that it has no plans to organize a larger scale operation like the 2021 evacuation from Afghanistan that left 13 Americans dead. So far, one American citizen has been killed as the conflict rages on.
Afghanistan was the first of the major foreign debacles of the Worst President* in American History. The State Department is finally owning up to the fact that they left hundreds, if not thousands of Americans behind in Afghanistan. The suicide bombing that happened is completely on the maladministration.
One of the soldiers, a sniper I believe, spotted the bomber and asked for permission to take him out. It was denied and 13 Americans died. This time the Biden Maladministration isn’t even going to bother with the fiction that they are trying to get Americans out of the Sudan. They’ve written them off and don’t care what happens to them.
The Dementia Patient just announced he was running for reelection. The announcement was prerecorded, something that is unheard of. I haven’t seen it, however I understand it was made up of short clips. I think we all know the reasons why. They know that Biden is unfit to hold office and he can’t string two sentences together and remain on topic.
With the announcement that his maladministration was once again abandoning Americans, if he had made the announcement in real time, someone would have shouted out a question about it. The Easter Bunny wasn’t available, hence the prerecorded message. Biden needs to go, Blinken needs to go and Milley needs to be court-martialed.
