Who says the Federal Prosecutor in the Trump case is unethical?

Good day all. The Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump, has been indicted by a special inquisitor prosecutor on blatantly political charges. When Jack Smith was named as the special prosecutor, many people questioned his impartiality. Now we find out that he isn’t the only one with issues in that office.

One of Smith prosecutors has a history of misconduct and has been reprimanded in the past by a judge. Here are the details from Just The News:

A Justice Department prosecutor who helped secure last week’s indictment of former President Donald Trump was publicly reprimanded by a judge in 2009 for “gross negligence” in connection with secretly taping a defense lawyer and an investigator, an agency source has confirmed to Just The News.

The prosecutor, Karen Gilbert, is now serving as a deputy to Special Counsel Jack Smith, who on Thursday issued the 37-count indictment of Trump

So, just what did this crooked, corrupt prosecutor do that got her yelled at by a Judge?

In the 2009 case, Gilbert was head of the U.S. Attorney’s Office’s narcotics division in Miami and was attempting to prosecute Dr. Ali Shaygan for allegedly prescribing medications illegally, court records show.

Obviously, I know absolutely nothing about that case. I do know that the DoJ has a habit of going after doctors who specialize in treating severe pain, and people suffering that level of pain require high levels of opioids to help control the pain. On the other hand, there are crooked doctors out there as well. We shall see which way this one went.

Gilbert and colleague in the case Sean Cronin launched a witness tampering investigation and got two witnesses to record conversations between Shaygan’s defense lawyer and the investigator, the records show.

Excuse me? Doesn’t that violate attorney/client privilege or something?

However, according to a stinging ruling by U.S. District Judge Alan Gold, the pair failed to get authorization to tape the conversations and did not inform the defense team that the witnesses were “cooperating with the government,” thereby violating discovery obligations.

I’ll take that as a yes then.

In addition, Gilbert didn’t inform her bosses that the duo had launched the investigation in violation of policy. When asked later about the matter in the sanctions hearing, she testified under oath that “she thought she had.”

I see she used the old trick of fault memory perfected by Felonia von Pantsuit. To bad the judge wasn’t buying what she was selling.

The judge determined Gilbert was “grossly negligent in her treatment” of the “significant and unique witness tampering investigation against defense counsel” and said there was no basis to have even started the probe.

Since when has the DoJ ever cared about the law or the Constitution? There is a long history of the DoJ literally breaking the laws to railroad people into prison. I’m just amazed that someone hasn’t decided that “I’ve go nothing to lose now, and I’m going to take some of these bastards with me.”

Gilbert was found to have failed to seek “necessary information” about the witness tampering investigation and to have failed to have gotten proper approval for it. She failed to “independently verify the basis for Cronin’s belief” that the witness probe was ever needed, according to records.

As to why Gilbert did this? She didn’t like the defense lawyers and wanted to “Get” them.

In the “Findings of Fact” part of Gold’s document, he said the probe happened because of “personal animus against the defense” on behalf of Cronin, who answered to Gilbert. The judge also concluded Gilbert pursued the witness tampering investigation “despite no evidence of wrongdoing.

Evidence? The DoJ doesn’t need no stinking evidence! If they need evidence, they’ll just make it up as they go. As for the doctor this corrupt bitch was trying to railroad int prison? He was acquitted of all charges.

As a result of what the judge called the “bad faith” effort to prosecute Shaygan, he granted the doctor’s request for sanctions and entered a “public reprimand” against the U.S Attorney’s Office that specifically applied to Gilbert, Cronin and another prosecutor.

The Justice Department admitted at the time to “misconduct” and that it had made “serious mistakes” throughout the probe, but denied “bad faith” in the numerous policy and ethics violations.

The court document notes that Gilbert “resigned” from the Narcotics division, but appears to have never left her government employer.

Guess who was running the Department of Justice and which President was in office at the time?

This is the one of the people who Biden has set loose on the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump. By rights, she should have been fired and disbarred for her actions, but she’s just another member of the Deep State Progressive Uniparty, so she’s been “Protected.”

Former senior Trump adviser and federal prosecutor Kash Patel last week called Gilbert “one of the most corrupt prosecutors to ever come out of the southern district of Miami.”

Gilbert, who is likely to be the trial attorney in the Southern District of Florida, in 2009 was so reprimanded in a narcotics trafficking case that she had to retire from her position,” Patel told Fox News on Friday. “She has been pulling the reins on this investigation” into Trump, he added.

This is all you need to know that what is happening is a political hit job on President Trump by Joe Biden and the Deep State. There is no case here and there is plenty of precedent, (Something judges like), going back to at least Bill Clinton and his sock drawer.

This woman should not be on this case, and frankly she shouldn’t still be a member of the Bar, never mind employed by the DoJ. I’m not a lawyer, however I suspect that in the next few months, President Trump’s lawyers will be making a number of motions to quash this whole thing and to once again sanction this corrupt prosecutor. We shall see of course.
