So much for the First Junkie, Hunter “Hoovernose” Biden’s sweetheart plea deal

Good day all. This is a breaking story so details may not be fully vetted. Today, the First Junkie, Hunter Biden, was set to plead guilty to a couple of misdemeanor charges that would have netted him…nothing. However, things didn’t go as planned.

When Hoovernose and his lawyers went into the court room, the judge had some interesting things to say. The upshot is that Hunter Biden, instead of pleading guilty to minor charges and walking out, instead changed his plea to Not Guilty. Here are the details from Fox News:

Hunter Biden’s plea deal fell apart during his first court appearance Wednesday morning and he pleaded “not guilty” as federal prosecutors confirmed the president’s son is still under federal investigation.

Hunter Biden was expected to plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax counts of willful failure to pay federal income tax, as part of plea deal to avoid jail time on a felony gun charge.

But Judge Maryellen Noreika did not accept the plea agreement, questioning the constitutionality — specifically the diversion clause and the immunity Hunter Biden would receive.

Apparently, another part of this deal was that Hunter Biden couldn’t be tried on anything else. According to the Western Journal:

U.S. District Court Judge Maryellen Noreika called into question the blanket immunity from future prosecution the agreement would involve.

From the start, the judge seemed highly skeptical of the unusual deal — which offered Hunter Biden broad immunity from prosecution in perpetuity, questioning why it had been filed under a provision that gave her no legal authority to reject it,” The New York Times’ Glenn Thrush reported.

When she asked Leo Wise, a prosecutor, if there was any precedent for the kind of deal being proposed, he replied, ‘No, your honor.’”

So it looks like they tried to pull a fast one over on the judge and she wasn’t having it. There is a lot of things going on, but the sweetheart deal, if not dead, is gravely wounded. What happens next is going to be interesting. First, the original plan was to keep Hoovernose out of jail and not lose things like his 2nd Amendment rights. Next, it seems that they were trying to keep him from ever being prosecuted again. Personally, I wasn’t aware of that part of the deal and I suspect a lot of other people weren’t either, including members of Congress.

This brings us to the U.S. Attorney, David Weiss. That he was involved in this deal has just placed a very big bullseye on his back. He is supposed to be testifying before the oversight committees and this fiasco has just dumped a truckload of new information for the committee’s to look into.

I gather that Biden will be back in court in a couple of weeks. From what I’ve read today, the judge is not happy with either the prosecution or some of the games the defense lawyers have been playing. There have been growing calls in the House to impeach Joe Biden, and the antics by David Weiss to protect Hunter Biden and “The Big Guy” might have just blown up in everyone’s faces. Stay tuned!!

LOL. They were trying to protect him from prosecution over the evidence on the laptop under a future administration. I’m surprised and overjoyed that the judge not only caught it but threw it out.
