Now that the IDF has moved into Gaza and is blasting Hamas anywhere they can find them, the Antisemitic Progressive Left has started demanding a cease fire to allow Hamas time to regroup and murder more unarmed people. One of these walking pieces of human debris is Senator Dick Durbin. (D-IL)
Durbin earned his nickname, “Durbin the Turban” just before the second Gulf War when he came out on Saddam Hussein’s side. He hasn’t improved much, and now, with Israel blowing the crap out of Hamas, has called for a cease fire to allow Hamas to rearm to get the hostages out. Here are the details from the Washington Examiner:
Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL), the second-highest ranking Democrat in the Senate, detailed his support for a ceasefire in the Israel–Hamas conflict contingent upon the release of all hostages.
The comments from Durbin, seemingly the first senator to back such a measure, demonstrate a divergence from the Biden administration, which has come out against a ceasefire but in favor of temporary humanitarian pauses in the fighting.
“I think it is,” he said during a Thursday morning interview on CNN when asked whether it was time for a ceasefire. “At least under — in the context of both sides agreeing. For example, the release of those who have been kidnapped should be a part of this. Immediate release. That should be the beginning of it. An effort should be made to engage in conversation between the Israelis and the Palestinians.”
Durbin the Turban is once again showing that he will bow to Islamic terrorists. He’s also not understanding that Israel is not going to stop until Hamas is wiped out. If Durbin does something that hurts Israel, I won’t be a bit surprised is his cell phone should blow up in his ear some time down the road.
President Joe Biden, a day earlier, said a “pause” in fighting was needed to “get the prisoners out” in response to a heckler who interrupted him.
I doubt Dementia Joe even remembers saying that. He was probably reading off a cue card or something. Netanyahu has already told Brain Dead Biden that Israel is not going to let up on Hamas, period, full stop.
Administration officials have said a ceasefire would allow Hamas time to regroup and launch additional attacks.
Which is just fine with Durbin the Turban and a number of other Nazis and Hamas sympathizers in Congress.
Israel declared war on Hamas following the attacks. Israeli forces have carried out a significant aerial campaign in Gaza, conducting thousands of airstrikes that have destroyed Gaza’s infrastructure. Thousands of Palestinians have been killed since Oct. 7, though it’s unclear how many were civilians and how many were combatants. The strikes and worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza have prompted calls for a ceasefire.
To use a new hashtag, #FAFO. That is what the Palestinians are discovering. They allowed Hamas free reign and now Israel is pulverizing the Gaza Strip. That is what happens in a declared state of war. It’s all in, game on. As for Durbin the Turban?
“Well, believe me, what I said earlier about ceasefire under the circumstances, for example, the release of those who have been kidnapped as part of it, [is] an indication this is a good faith effort on the part of the other side,” Durbin added. “But, no, I have not communicated with the White House on that.”
There will be no “Good Faith Effort” by Hamas. If they release any hostages, it will be only to further their goals of exterminating the Jews.
Hamas has a significant tunnel structure built underneath densely populated parts of Gaza. The tunnels, which are similar to a metro system, have allowed Hamas fighters to hide from Israeli airstrikes and move freely to hide weapons caches and other goods. Israel is seeking to destroy the tunnels, though there are significant challenges to that type of operation.
Israel has been working on dealing with those tunnels for years. It will be difficult. Just ask the Tunnel Rats who went into the tunnels in Vietnam with a pistol and a flashlight. Of course, the tunnels that Hamas has built are a lot bigger I suspect. There is also technology that can be used such as robots that can move ahead and set off traps. They could also do what the United States did. They released the B-52’s and carpet bombed the area, collapsing the tunnels.
As for Durbin, he needs to be removed from the Senate. At this point, I don’t care if it’s another Democrat that replaces him, so long as he or she doesn’t support Hamas and Hezbollah. Sadly, that terrorist loving scumbag is not due for reelection until 2026. Of course, as I mentioned before, I have little doubt that Mossad is developing a little list and it wouldn’t surprise me one bit of something showed up that ended with Durbin being arrested.

Mossad is more likely to use the same tactics and missions that they were founded for, the punishment of those that escaped Nuremberg.
I think the IDF should allow a ceasefire. Not for humanitarian reasons but to use their access to the NRO satnet to see where the raghead murderers run to. That Data will be of inestimable value in plotting the next fire mission.
