The Fani Willis decision has come down

Good day all. Judge Scott McAfee has made his decision with regards to removing the corrupt lying Fulton County District Attorney, Fani Willis from the political prosecution of the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump. It looks like he decided to waffle.

This news came out early this morning and there is still a lot going on. The short version is that he told Willis that either she had to go or her boy toy Wade had to. Here are the details from Newsmax:

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis must step aside from the Georgia election interference case against Donald Trump or remove the special prosecutor with whom she had a romantic relationship before the case can proceed, the judge overseeing it ruled Friday.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee said concluded Willis’ relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade gives an “appearance of impropriety” that infected the prosecution team.

“As the case moves forward, reasonable members of the public could easily be left to wonder whether the financial exchanges have continued resulting in some form of benefit to the District Attorney, or even whether the romantic relationship has resumed,” the judge wrote.

“Put differently, an outsider could reasonably think that the District Attorney is not exercising her independent professional judgment totally free of any compromising influences. As long as Wade remains on the case, this unnecessary perception will persist.”

The judge has given the appearance that he shouldn’t be on the bench. Willis and Wade perjured themselves, misappropriated taxpayer funds and any number of other things and both should not only have been removed, but the State Attorney General should open a criminal investigation into their actions. The Republicans in Congress are hammering the judge for his cowardice. Here are those details from Fox News:

Congressional Republicans criticized the latest ruling from Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee, in which he refused to disqualify District Attorney Fani Willis, calling it “lawfare,” a term used to describe a governing party’s wielding the law as a strategic weapon – and alleging “election interference” against former President Trump.

“The Atlanta prosecution – like the others – is a political hatchet job aimed at salvaging Joe Biden’s campaign. This lawfare against President Trump is more appropriate in a banana republic than America,” Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

Rep. Jim Banks, R-Ind., took to X to respond, writing, “Judge McAfee once worked for Fani Willis and donated to her campaign,” he noted. “I am not shocked that he didn’t disqualify her, but as an American, I am disappointed.”

There are others making similar comments. It must be said that McAfee is up for reelection and a hard left wing Jesse Jackson acolyte has announced his candidacy. He also knows Willis very well as has been noted. I don’t know how things work here, or if it is even an option, but he should have recused himself from hearing the case against Willis and Wade.

Another person who is slamming Mcafee is Alan Dershowitz. He is not a supporter of President Trump, (He usually votes Democrat, although he may be rethinking that with the Democrats flagrant antisemitism now on full display), and he thinks McAfee is a gutless coward. Here are those details from Newsmax:

Harvard Law School professor Alan Dershowitz blasted as “utterly dishonest” a judge’s “weaselly” ruling Friday to let Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis proceed with her election interference prosecution of Donald Trump and his allies.

Please Mr. Dershowitz, try to give us your honest appraisal of this judicial buffoon’s ruling.

In a brutal takedown of the 23-page ruling by Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee, a Dershowitz asked, “Who are you going to believe, this judge or your lying eyes?”

I can’t speak for others, but I’m going to believe my own lying eyes.

“I think the result is utterly dishonest,” Dershowitz said. “Everybody knows … that she profited … that she conspired to commit perjury with Nathan Wade and with the other witness.

“We all know there was an actual conflict of interest here,” he added. “[McAfee] just doesn’t have the guts to say it. And I predicted he wouldn’t have the guts to say it. He has to live in Fulton County.”

As I mentioned before, McAfee is up for reelection, and now has a hard left challenger. I have little doubt that this colored his decision. The problem here is that he’s completely compromised himself.

Dershowitz also lamented how the ruling “undercuts our legal system tremendously.”

“He should have ruled, honestly, yes, there’s a conflict. Yes, she committed perjury. Yes there was a conspiracy. Yes, she received financial benefit for this. That’s the truth and the truth matters,” Dershowitz said.

Not to the Progressive Liberal Elite Mr. Dershowitz. If it did, we wouldn’t be having the issues in the country we have. All that matters to them is absolute power and the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump, stands in their way.

Dershowitz pointed out the “actual conflict of interest” was that Willis “made money from this case.”

“If anybody believes that she actually paid back every penny in cash, I got a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn,” he said. “There are people in prison, there are people in death row, based on evidence less strong than this.”

Some of that evidence is from Fat Ass Fani’s own big mouth. She flat out lied, under oath, in front of the Judge.

Dershowitz also pointed out that “there was perjury committed on the witness stand in front of this judge” and that Willis and Wade “had a relationship that went back well before he hired her and that she made profit from the relationship.”

“We know because there were records proving that he paid for all the trips,” Dershowitz said. “And then we have to take her word. … she paid him back in cash but kept no records. What reasonable lawyer knowing that there is a rule prohibiting getting benefits from somebody would not keep records?”

I think the Internal Revenue Service, and the Georgia Department of Revenue should be asking these two some very pointed questions. I have a suspicion that certain income and taxes might not have been paid.

Dershowitz accused the judge of turning a blind eye to come “to this intermediate position — oh well, I’ll get rid of one person, but not the other. I’ll give each side a little bit. I’ll say some nasty things, but he didn’t have the courage to do the right thing.

No he didn’t and it will bite him in the ass down the road. As to what next? The entire case against President Trump and the others is collapsing. We have the flat out corruption of the Fulton County District Attorney to begin with, then there is the “evidence” that started this whole thing, the recording made of the call between President Trump and the Secretary of State.

That recording was made illegally. How you ask? President Trump was in Florida when he made the call. Florida requires all people on a call to consent to it being made. The recording of the call was made by a militant Never Trumper who worked in the Secretary of State, Ben Raffensperger’s office, one Jordan Fuchs. So tainted was this that when Fuchs testified to the Grand Jury in Georgia, Willis gave her immunity. There is just one problem with that. The crime happened in Florida, not Georgia, so Fuch’s immunity is worthless.

I don’t know how things work in the legal system in Georgia, or if this decision to let Fat Ass Fani Willis stay on the case can be appealed. The level of apparent criminality by Willis, along with her blatant perjury should be looked into by the Georgia State Attorney General.

In any case, even if Fat Ass manages to get convictions, the whole thing is so tainted that any honest appellate court will have no choice but to overturn and vacate any convictions. What should now happen is the State of Georgia indicts Fat Ass Fani Wallis and her Boy Toy Wade for perjury, just to begin with.
