Jimmy Carter vs Barack Obama

Good day all, It’s the Angry Webmaster. I was surfing around HotAir.com and came across this little gem posted by Allahpundit. Apparently it was 32 years ago, (July 15th), when Jimmy Carter gave his infamous Malaise speech.

It seems that Laura Ingraham compared Carter’s speech with several given by Obama and the similarity to the two is both frightening and not unexpected. Obama’s administration has been referred to as the second term of Jimmy Carter. Both showed just how incompetent they are within months of taking office. Listen to it and decide for yourself.

Now that you have listened to the two, you should consider that there is one big difference between the two. Carter wasn’t a traitor out to destroy the United States. Obama and his cronies are.

I remember the 70’s and it was not fun. Thanks to Carter and the Democrats, (Along with their fellow travelers in the RINO segment of the Republican party), the economy had pretty much collapsed. The Soviet Union was on the march throughout the world and there was a real chance we would have lost the cold war.

Then came Reagan. It took him 6 years but he laid the foundations of the longest economic expansion in U.S. history. It’s taken 20 years and 3 nitwit presidents to undo what Reagan did. Obama and his crowd now want to finish the job and outright collapse the nation.

Remember in November and vote out anyone who thinks the government is the answer. (That would be all Democrats and a fair number of “Moderate” Republicans)
