Good day all. The recent rise of Nazis and Liberal antisemites attacking Israel and physically attacking Jews on college campuses has made a lot of people very angry. (Including me) In some cases, the police were finally called in to clean out the rabble. Out in UCLA, there was a fight between the Nazis and decent people when the Nazis beat a Jewish women into unconsciousness.
There have also been many incidents of Nazis and Hamas terrorist supporters tearing down the American flag and running up the dish rag that the Palestinians call a flag. This has triggered a reaction that makes many people see that all hope for this generation isn’t lost. Here are the details from Fox News:
After a show of patriotism on the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill campus earlier this week when students prevented an American flag from hitting the ground and sang the National Anthem, students at Rutgers University followed suit.
Rutgers students on Thursday waved American flags and chanted “USA!” amid anti-Israel protests on Voorhees Mall at the New Brunswick, New Jersey, university.
“Toward the latter half of their encampment yesterday, a handful of what I consider patriotic students went on campus and they obviously were chanting ‘USA!’ They sang the National Anthem,” Rutgers student Jeremy Li, class of 2025, told Fox News Digital on Friday. “They were probably standing up for American values, despite all the conflicting chaos that’s been happening on campus recently.”
Li added that he thought the counter-protesters were “great to see.”
I think this is a great thing to see, especially after decades of Colleges and Universities literally coming down on people who aren’t communists or traitors. (In this case, traitor is the classical definition, not the Constitutionally defined version) You would see people and groups who were either actual Republicans or center right being attacked, sanctioned and banned.
Then came the October 7th attack on Israel and Israel’s response. The left went absolutely bonkers, and the school administrations basically allowed the pro-Hamas terrorist supporters to run rampant, including physical attacks. Finally, after months of this, the schools have started to crack down, and the more patriotic students have decided that it’s time to step up and be counted.
A Jewish Rutgers student named Abbey told Fox News Digital that “it’s not right” for the school’s large Jewish student community “to feel unsafe while trying to take their finals.”
“I had a lot of friends here yesterday who were chanting ‘USA’ and ‘all for Israel,’ and I think that’s really beautiful because that’s what this country is all about,” Abbey said.
You are absolutely correct Ms. Abbey. For far to long these totalitarians have been running roughshod over anyone who stands in their way. I think that finally, critical mass has been reached and the decent people have had it and are now beginning to put these racist, antisemitic bigoted Nazis and Communists in their place.
On Tuesday, a photo of Chapel Hill students holding up an American flag amid campus protests went viral.
Protesters on the North Carolina quad on Tuesday removed and replaced the American flag with a Palestinian flag. Interim Chancellor Lee Roberts stepped in with law enforcement to return Old Glory to its original place.
I did a quick lookup of Mr. Roberts. According to the ever so accurate tome of internet knowledge, Wikipedia, he was appointed as the interim Chancellor when the previous moved on to a new position. Apparently the leftist students weren’t to happy with the choice. If he called in the police to put the American flag back, then I can see why the campus Nazis and Communists don’t like him.
When protesters attempted to take it down a second time, a group of students and fraternity members stepped in to keep it from touching the ground. Since then, a third party created a GoFundMe for the Chapel Hill students that raised more than $500,000 before the fundraiser was closed. UNC has since erected a fence around the campus flag pole.
The fence actually looks rather nice in the picture on Fox News. It’s both decorative, and functional. I have also done some research on the GoFundMe account. It appears that whoever set it up isn’t known the the Fraternity that fought to protect the flag from the Communists, Nazis and Dirty Hippies that tried to replace it with the dirty dishrag from the fake country of Palestine. The GoFundme was meant to by some beer for the Fraternity and it went a little out of control.
On Wednesday, a GoFundMe was started by John Noonan with the title: “Pi Kappa Phi Men Defended their Flag. Throw ’em a Rager.”
A description for the fundraiser referred to protesters as “commie losers” and an “unwashed Marxist horde,” while painting the ones who held up the U.S. flag as “a platoon of American heroes” and “triumphant Brohemians … fueled by Zyn and White Claws.”
The GoFundMe raised something like $480,000 dollars before it was closed down. That is going to pay for one Hell of a kegger I think.
In an email sent to WUNC on Thursday night, Noonan said the fundraiser “started as a modest request to buy a few kegs for some great young guys (that) has ballooned into an American cultural moment.” He also took ownership of the fundraiser, saying it was started independently — despite the use of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity name in its headline.
Noonan said the campaign plans to stop accepting donations at 11:59 p.m. Thursday. The plan then, Noonan said, is to use the money on “a killer party and give to some great charities.”
Will, I can think of the perfect place to send money to. There are hungry IDF soldiers who could use a pizza right about now since they’re about to clean out the last of Hamas in Rafah.
“Hopefully we’re going to see more and more students stand up to this nonsense that pro-Hamas students are putting up… We saw them at Columbia occupy buildings, destroy buildings, vandalize,” Li said.
It looks you’re are getting your wish Mr. Li.
By Friday, conservative students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison joined the counter-protest movement. The school’s “Young Americans for Freedom” chapter joined forces with College Republicans of UW-Madison to send a message to the student protesters at Library Mall, local news station WMTV reported.
“We just want to show the school and all of the protestors that are here doing it illegally, that there is a way to voice your opinion, there is a way to exercise your First Amendment, but within the laws,” said Harrison Wells, chairman of Young Americans for Freedom.
I agree, however the moment one of those Nazis start something, and they will, since they can’t stand any opposition to them, you should beat the ever living crap out of them. Don’t start anything but damn well finish it. If the school administration tries to punish these students for defending themselves, then unleash the Lawyers from Hell on them. (I hear Alan Dershowitz has been helping out on this)
I think we’re beginning to see a sea change in the “College Experience.” We have seen tuition increasing at a rate that far outpaces inflation, even under Bidenomics. Most of the degrees these days are not worth the parchment they’re printed on and people have run up huge debts with no prospects of ever being able to pay them off and for what? A degree in Overweight Lesbians with pink hair studies?
Parents are beginning to see that a degree from an Ivy League school, unless it’s in medicine, engineering or some other science, is generally worthless. Even law school isn’t seen as a gateway to success any longer. Now we’re seeing people going to trade schools and becoming highly skilled in things that Progressives turn their noses up at. (Plumbers, electricians, HVAC, etc)
What they don’t seem to understand is that after 4 years, the man or woman with a certification in a skilled trade is going to start out in the mid-five figures with no debt and after a few years of experience hit six figure paychecks. The progressives with their Gay and Minor Attracted Person Studies degrees will be pouring coffee for those skilled workers trying to figure out how the will ever pay back the $300K debt they’re stuck with.
I have a strong suspicion that many of those students who have stood up to the Pro Hamas, Antisemitic leftists are those who will have useful degrees when they finish school and will have actual, real jobs waiting for them. They will have shown potential employers that they are critical thinkers and capable of making logical decisions. Keep up the good work boys and girls. America needs more like you and less like the Communists, Socialists, and other useless drones today’s colleges have been producing.
