Good day all. Recently, Comcast announced that it was going to spin off several of their properties including MSNBC into a separate company. That company will be publicly traded. This caused the moonbats infesting MSNBC to have some heart palpitations. What came next caused outright cardiac arrest.
Shortly after the announcement, Donald Trump Jr. posted a tweet aimed at Elon Musk that caused blind panic among the Progressive Liberal Democrats. Trump Jr. tweeted a message to Elon Musk suggesting that he buy MSNBC. Musk’s Response? How much does it cost?

When that came out, the NPC’s, Leftards, Moonbats, Liberals, Progressives and Democrats went off. They remember when someone suggested to Elon that he should buy Twitter. He asked the same question. Soon after, Twitter become X and an actual Free Speech Zone. Now they are terrified that MSNBC might become MXNBC. Here are some of the details from Yahoo News:
Elon Musk has hinted he could buy MSNBC, the Left-leaning TV network, in a move which could see a dramatic realignment of the political news landscape.
The billionaire tech entrepreneur, who has railed against the “Left-wing” media, floated the idea in a post on his own social media network, X, jokingly asking how much it would cost.
Well Elon, while I don’t have any real information, I would suspect that Comcast would be willing to part with MSNBC for a McDonald’s Big Mack and large fries.
Quoting a post from an account which claimed the network had been put up for sale by Comcast, because “lying non-stop to your audience is a lousy business model,” Donald Trump Jr tagged the mogul and wrote: “Hey Elon Musk I have the funniest idea ever!!!”
In response Mr Musk wrote: “How much does it cost?”. In a follow-up post he added: “The most entertaining outcome, especially if ironic, is most likely” with a laughing crying face emoji.
The MSM promptly started saying “Don’t worry! This is just a joke! Elon Musk isn’t going to by MSNBC. You won’t be losing another Safe Space. We promise!”
Now Comcast isn’t putting MSNBC or the other streaming companies up for sale. They are creating a new company to stuff them under. However, I can see the CEO and the Board of Directors sitting in a conference room thinking about dumping that problem child of theirs. I don’t think Musk would be all that interested in the other channels, such as SyFy and USA that are also being spun off to the new company.
While hiving off the streaming companies would not need FCC approval, there would still be some regulatory hurdles for any company to take over the broadcasters.
Part of that would be the usual antitrust issues. However, Elon Musk has no streaming services. Additionally, you will have a new administration that would look rather kindly on Elon’s buying MSNBC.
“There are only two media entities that Donald Trump dislikes more than CNN. One is MSNBC and the other is NBC,” Craig Moffett, a media veteran and founder of media analysts MoffettNathanson told CNN.
Now the question is, will Elon Musk continue trolling with the help of Donald Trump Jr, or will he actually buy MSNBC? It will cost significantly less then his purchase of Twitter. Their ratings have been cratering since the election lowering their value. I would be surprised if he had to come up with more then $2 billion, if that much. (MSNBC is essentially worthless)
Now what would happen if Musk did buy MSNBC? I think it’s a safe bet that there would be a few changes made. Rachael Madcow has already had to take a pay cut due to the collapsing ratings. Two others, MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, who have been libeling President Trump, his team and all his supporters for years, went to Mar-a-lago, hat in hand to meet with president Trump. That set off the fan base and even more shut them off.
If Musk were to decide to make an offer, he wold also need to have a management staff ready to step in. One suggestion was Infowar’s Alex Jones taking over the spot of Rachael Madcow. Without question, a lot of the on air so called “Talent” would need to be shown the door. Seeing Joy Reid’s response to being told her services were no longer required would be ratings gold for MXNBC.
Will this actually happen? I honestly don’t know. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of Musk’s M&A people were doing some quiet research into the idea. The announcement of the sale would be epic, especially in the halls of MSNBC. Joy Reid might actually stroke out on the air. I think I’ll just sit back and enjoy the stress that Don Trump Jr. and Elon Musk are now causing the libtards.
