Good day all. Last week the FBI arrested a Boston City councilor on corruption charges. Many are asking, “Why is this news? They all should go to jail.” This is true, however this particular Masshole political hack is checked all the boxes for the Democrats.
This arrest occurred right after the Mayor and city councilors reaffirmed that American citizens count for nothing and they will do whatever it takes to protect illegal aliens. Now they are down one councilor. Here are the details from Fox News:
FBI special agents in Boston arrested City Councilor Tania Fernandes Anderson Friday morning on public corruption charges.
Oh! They still have an FBI office in Boston? I thought they closed it down after the whole Whitey Bulger fiasco. I guess not.
Fernandes Anderson was under investigation by federal authorities and FBI agents were seen outside her home in Dorchester this morning as she was taken into custody, according to WCVB. Boston Mayor Michelle Wu is now calling on her to resign.
How nice to see Mayor Wu Wu stand by one of her city councilors after all that councilor did for her reaffirming the Democrats utter contempt for American citizens, the Constitution, and the rule of law.
The Democrat lawmaker is facing five counts of wire fraud and one count of theft concerning programs receiving federal funds, a court filing by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts says.
Federal prosecutors allege that in late 2022, Fernandes Anderson hired a staff member that was related to her and then defrauded the city by proposing an arrangement in which the person would receive “additional compensation but would kickback most of this bonus pay.”
Since when has that ever been a crime for Democrats? I’ve always thought that was their standard way of improving their personal financial situation.
“From in or about early to mid-2023, Fernandes Anderson was facing personal financial difficulty, which included missing monthly rent and car payments, an impending $5,000 civil penalty from the Ethics Commission, and incurring bank overdraft fees, which resulted in Fernandes Anderson maintaining low daily bank balances,” read the filing, which was obtained by the Boston Globe.
I looked up what a Boston City Councilor makes in a year. They steal earn $115,000 in 2024 from the taxpayers. This doesn’t include all the little per diems and expense accounts they have. This makes me wonder what this idiot was spending her money on.
“Shortly following these texts, Staff Member A handed Fernandes Anderson approximately $7,000 in cash at a bathroom in City Hall.”
How did anyone this stupid get elected to office? Why am I asking this? She checked off all the Progressive boxes that the Democrats use when selecting someone to rob “Represent the people.” What were those check boxes? To begin with, she was an illegal alien, coming to the United States when she was 10. Somehow, she got her documentation, probably with the Amnesty the Democrats conned President Reagan into approving. She then became a U.S. citizen in 2019. She’s also a Muslim. (Although not a good one or she would be in a burka at home following the orders of her husband)
The Fox News article then goes on to list all the nefarious things that Fernandes Anderson did. Apparently, she had all the subtly of an exploding bomb in her graft.
“Her behavior, as alleged in today’s indictment, is a slap in the face to the hardworking taxpayers in the city of Boston who have every right to expect that the city’s funds are in good and honest hands,” Special Agent in Charge Jodi Cohen said in a statement. “This case illustrates how the FBI, and our partners, are working hard every day to battle public corruption and the corrosive damage it does to people’s faith in government.”
As soon as idiot was booked, Mayor Michelle Wu came out and publicly supported her and called the charges unwarranted and obviously just another attempt by the white patriarchy to put a successful immigrant woman in her place. Just kidding! Wu threw her right under the bus.
Boston Mayor Michelle Wu said in a statement that “Like any member of the community, Councilor Fernandes Anderson has the right to a fair legal process.”
“But the serious nature of these charges undermines the public trust and will prevent her from effectively serving the city. I urge Councilor Fernandes Anderson to resign,” Wu added.
So much for presumed innocent until proven guilty. Even former Senator Bob Menendez held on to his seat until it was obvious that he was going to a nice Club Fed, at which point her threw himself on his political Seppuku blade and resigned his seat. I doubt that Tania Fernandes Anderson will “Do the right thing” and resign her seat, at least not until she is convicted, and possibly not even then.
In any case, I see this nitwit as being the first of the Boston City Government getting picked up. Once President Trump is back in office and Tom Homan comes into the city to start rounding up all the illegal aliens. They have thrown down the gauntlet and said they will protect criminals from ICE. Who knows? They might just end up having the next city council meeting in a federal prison.
