Good day all. The recent election that resulted in the landslide victory of President Trump should be causing a great deal of thinking among Democrats on what went wrong. That doesn’t seem to be happening very much, if at all.

One person who doesn’t seem to be learning anything is the current Govno of Kalifornistan, Gavin “Hair Gel” Newsom. He’s beginning to look at making a run for the Democrat nomination. However, not every Democrats appears to be on board with that idea. Here are the details from Fox News:
A former Democrat predicts the party will lose another election cycle if California Gov. Gavin Newsom is chosen as the 2028 presidential nominee.

During an appearance on “Jesse Watters Primetime,” former Democratic operative Evan Barker revealed she had officially left the party and voted for President-elect Trump in November.
“Gavin Newsom, if he actually becomes the nominee in 2028 — the Democrats deserve to lose again because there’s no way a pretty boy from Marin County is going to be able to win over swing voters in swing states. It’s not going to happen,” she said.

Hair Gel Newsom is actually in trouble with the voters of Kalifornistan, although he is term limited. He’s already had to face a recall, although he managed to defeat the attempt. His current term ends in 2026. I’m sure that in what passes for his mind, that will give him plenty of time to secure the nomination leading to his arrest and conviction election to the presidency in 2028.
Barker suggested that voters will remember that Newsom infamously dined at the swanky French Laundry restaurant during the COVID-19 lockdowns — a footnote she claimed would make it difficult for him to connect with working-class voters.
Oh that’s just one small thing in a long list of epic failures by this incompetent jerk. You can start with Kalifornistan losing so much population that they’re going to lose at least one and potentially two house seats. Then you have all the businesses either closing down or moving out of the state. Then there is the homeless issues, the crime issues and everything else that has gone wrong there. The ads against him will write themselves.

With Trump’s election victory last week, Newsom became one of the Democratic Party leaders getting ready to lead the opposition. The governor announced that California state lawmakers would meet to quickly take legislative action to counter Trump’s likely upcoming agenda.
That agenda is repairing all the damage done by the worst president* in U.S. history, Joe Biden. It will also entail rounding up and removing all the illegal aliens that Biden and the Democrats let into the country. Then there is Kalifornistan’s constant attempts to impose it’s Communist ideas on the rest of the country through over the top regulation. The way things are going and the arrogant stupidity of Newsom, he might even get himself indicted.
If Newsom does run, Vice President Kamala Harris could assume the mantle of California governor.

In an October poll, 46% of Golden State registered voters said they would be very likely or somewhat likely to back Harris for governor, according to a poll from the University of California at Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies co-sponsored by the Los Angeles Times.
I wonder if they’ve retaken that poll now that the drugs have worn off and Kackling Kamala lost in a landslide to the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump? I’m not sure she’s even sobered up yet from her binge drinking since her crushing defeat.

Forty-two percent of respondents said they would be very unlikely or somewhat unlikely to support the vice president.
So that leaves a spread of about 20 percent who can’t make up their minds. The way things are going in Kalifornistan, it might even be possible for the GOP to make major inroads, provided that Kalifornistan actually has an honest election. (Two weeks to count ballots? Yet more truckloads of suddenly found ballots tipping the scales to the Democrats?)
Gruesome Gavin Newsom may think he has a shot in 2028. What may happen is another Kamala Harris 2020 run where she was so blasted in the polls, she dropped out before the first primary. Newsom is a better speaker, but his record is one that is going to be hung around his neck like an anvil be both the Democrats and the Republicans. He should just retire to his vineyards and fade away into obscurity.
