Good day all. I spent several hours listening to Valliant Renegade literally exploding on YouTube over the New Orleans Islamic terrorist attack. This is not what he usually talks about during his podcasts, however he grew up in New Orleans and still lives in the area.
The Podcast was live and is now in the Members Only archive. His remarks were certainly not suitable for small children and his editor was wondering how he was going to clip highlights for general release. (I suggested lots of sound effects in the chat)
One of the issues that V.R. covered was the incredible levels of incompetence in the political leadership of New Orleans. He also had nothing good to say about the local FBI office. He wasn’t the only one to notice the incompetence and stupidity that was on glorious display during the press conferences. Others have as well. Here are some of those details from the Daily Caller:
The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) and the city’s FBI field office are staunch advocates for diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) — and those same agencies are investigating the terrorist attack that killed at least 15 people early Wednesday morning.
The New Orleans FBI Field Office has aggressively promoted diversity initiatives on social media, especially in its recruitment efforts. A press release from May 20, 2024, stated the bureau would hold a “Diversity Agent Recruitment (DAR) event” to aid in their search for applicants with “diverse backgrounds, skills, opinions, and perspectives.”

That “Diversity” was on display when the New Orleans Police said this was a terrorist attack, (The ISIS flag, among other things was a big clue), and the FBI’s Diversity Hire SpokesThing Spokeswoman announced it wasn’t a terrorist attack. (She then polished her nose ring) Needless to say, that FBI agent has been ripped up one side and down the other by just about everyone.
The division’s social media accounts are rife with advertisements for diversity recruitment, with one post encouraging “minorities and women who qualify” to attend the DAR event.
Another post from June 2024 says the agency is “committed to fostering diversity and inclusion by hiring special agents from a variety of unexpected backgrounds.”
And the topper?
A July 2021 post captioned “The Value of Diversity” celebrates “Near and Middle East Heritage Month.”
Incoming director Kash Patel is going to have a lot of work ahead of him cleaning out all this garbage. This is one of the many reasons that a majority of the American people have decided that the FBI can’t be reformed and needs to be defunded and disbanded. Their duties can be handed off to the united States Marshals with, perhaps, 10 percent of the current agents being suitable for transfer after significant retraining. The rest? Show them the door. Things get even worse when you see who NOPD superintendent is.
Additionally, NOPD Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick serves as an instructor for the FBI’s Law Enforcement Executive Association’s Leadership Training Program, where she instructs officers on subjects “including, but not limited to, Bias and Diversity, Emotional Intelligence and Leading Generations,” according to the department’s website.
Well, it’s nice to see just how highly qualified she is. In fact, she was so qualified, the Oakland Police Commission canned her commie ass.
Kirkland also served as chief of the Oakland Police Department, where she “[implemented] equity-based decision-making.” The city’s police commission voted unanimously to fire Kirkpatrick “without cause” in 2020 after three years leading the department, according to NBC Bay Area.
Without cause? That’s a nice way of saying that she was flat out incompetent and did a fine job of trashing the Oakland PD. I looked up Kirkpatrick’s Wikipedia page, mostly to find the timelines and I found this entry on her termination.
On February 20, 2020, the Oakland Police Commission voted unanimously to fire Kirkpatrick with Schaaf joining in the decision as required by the law for a police chief to be fired without cause, saying that the commission’s trust in Kirkpatrick was “irrevocably broken”. Kirkpatrick subsequently filed a federal lawsuit accusing the city of firing her as retaliation for reports she had made against the behavior of commissioners. In May 2022, the jury ruled partially in Kirkpatrick’s favor, awarding her one year’s pay, $337,000. One juror said there was “evidence that retaliation played some role in her discharge”. In July 2022, the City of Oakland agreed to pay her that amount plus her legal costs, a total of $1.5 million.
Retaliation? From the sounds of it, she royally pissed off the entire commission if they decided to get rid of her. That takes a lot of work. I suspect that if Oakland appealed, they probably wold have won, but it was probably cheaper to just pay her off and have her go far away, which she did. Sadly, she ended up in New Orleans and has been busily wrecking havoc there.
Kirkpatrick was appointed interim superintendent of the New Orleans Police Department by Mayor LaToya Cantrell in September 2023, and after confirmation by the city council was sworn in as Superintendent in November 2023.
When I was listening to Valliant Renegade, he referred to the Mayor of New Orleans as “LaToilet.” Apparently, he is not alone in referring to her by that name. From the little I’ve read about her, she’s comes across as a female Ray Nagin, just less qualified. Speaking of less qualified, the Wikipedia entry I posted had this little gem regarding Kirkpatrick’s driving skills.
In August 2024, she struck two pedestrians with her car while on duty.
These are the people investigating the RIF Terrorist. You can see why people have no confidence in their ability to actually get the job started, let alone done. They see everything through the prism of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. They probably think what the terrorist did was just a way for him to express himself and his religious beliefs. (Technically they were)
There is little that the incoming Trump administration can do regarding the local political scene in New Orleans. What they can do is start cleaning out the FBI. I’m going to guess that more than half of the recent “Hires” were brought on solely due to their skin color and a few other things. Very few were brought on due to being the best people for the job. It will be interesting to see what happens over the course of the next year or two.
