Good day all. There are a few members of the Biden Maladministration that need to be criminally investigated. At the top of the list should be the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas.
Mayorkas is responsible for a wide range of things. At the top of the list is the border of the United States. DHS manages the Immigration and Customs Enforcement department and the Border patrol. I don’t have to go over all the things that have happened along the border. I’ve already done so.
One of the worst things going on is the trafficking of children by the Cartels. The Cartels have smuggled tens of thousands of children over the border. In one of the major scandals, some 80,000 children and teens have been “Lost” by DHS. You would think that stopping child traffickers would be a high priority for the DHS. You would be mistaken. Here are the details from the Daily Wire:
Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas said on Sunday that he is “aware of reports of children being trafficked,” but that stopping it is “outside the responsibility of the Department of Homeland Security.”
More than half a million illegal immigrant children have been knowingly let into the country in recent years — about 120,000 a year — under a policy shielding “unaccompanied alien children.” The New York Times found that one-third could not be located thirty days later.
When the news came out on all the missing children, most people who were aware of it were outraged. Most of the Democrat Propaganda Corps basically said nothing or nothing much about it and then flushed it down the memory hole. However, some of the Alternative Media sites started digging into this. They and some members of Congress started asking pointed questions of Mayorkas. His response?
Mayorkas shrugged aside the high numbers of children that disappear, saying some could just be illegal immigrants refusing to cooperate with the conditions they agreed to. “Individuals do not comply with the reporting obligations, or otherwise, I think it is inaccurate to say that all of them are trafficked or victimized,” he said on Face the Nation.
Mayorkas declined to take responsibility despite his agency’s official watchdog, the DHS inspector general, in August, issuing a report saying Immigration and Customs Enforcement, a division of DHS, “must take immediate action to ensure the safety of UCs residing in the United States. … Without an ability to monitor the location and status of UCs, ICE has no assurance UCs are safe from trafficking, exploitation, or forced labor.”
Mayorkas flat out doesn’t care. It does make one wonder about certain conspiracy theories that have been floating around since Dementia Joe was installed into the White House in 2021 regarding Democrats and what they might be doing with children brought into the country illegally.
It said DHS had not been able to find, or simply didn’t bother trying to find, about 300,000 children to give them court papers.
I suspect it’s the latter. They flat out couldn’t be bothered to look for these children.
In other cases, they found the children, and they appeared to be being exploited, but DHS did nothing. Agents “had identified UCs in unsafe conditions but were unable to intervene.
I suspect they were flat out told to stand down. This is probably one of the reasons so many ICE and Border Patrol agents were thinking about either resigning or retiring prior to the 2024 election. Considering one of the planks in the Democrat Party Platform, I can see why they were growing so frustrated.
The loophole that gives preferential treatment to children if they come to the border alone—the preservation of which was a plank in the 2024 Democrat platform—has incentivized the separation of families, with children leaving their families behind and making the perilous journey with coyotes.
And being unescorted by family members, they are the perfect targets to be “Disappeared” once they’re across the border. When they are picked up by the Border Patrol or ICE, they are handed over to the Department of Health and Human Services. HHS then hands them over to “Sponsors,” most of whom are also illegal aliens, and most of them have no relationship to the child they’ve been assigned to. You would think that since HHS is now handling things, they would also be looking out for these children. Wrong again!
Remarkably, the head of Joe Biden’s HHS, Xavier Becerra, has repeatedly said that what happens to the children after they are released to sponsors is not his responsibility, either. “Our responsibility is to provide care while they were in our custody,” he told Congress in November.
HHS never meets the sponsors before releasing the children to them, instead verifying their identities only by having them text screenshots of foreign IDs via WhatsApp, then paying a transportation contractor to take the children to them. Its only follow-up was a call thirty days later, at which point one-third of the sponsors would not answer or refused to put the child on the phone, according to The New York Times. The Times found that many of the children were being forced to work in dangerous factories, and there is evidence that others have been sold into the sex trade.
If anyone has dealt with state level Child Protective Services and how they deal with children in the foster care system, the one thing the CPS is pretty much required to do is check in on the foster parents on a regular basis. I used to work with a woman who was a foster parent and she was always talking about how they worked with the state’s child services department. She also talked about what she and her husband had to go through to be certified as foster parents. There have been problems in the past with various State CPS departments, but to my knowledge, nothing like what HHS has done.
Rep. Tom McClintock (R-California) lashed out at Becerra at the November hearing, saying, “You have dropped them off at a sponsor’s house, you now can’t get a hold of them … You shrug your shoulders and then send another batch of kids out. That’s frightening to me.”
That isn’t just frightening, in my opinion, it’s criminal. Becerra was the Attorney General of the People’s Republic of Kalifornistan and his actions then should have sent up red flags when he was selected to lead the HHS. He literally had no experience in that field, and now we’re seeing the results. Thankfully, the voters have thrown out the trash and brought back the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump. One of the reasons for this was to deport all the illegal aliens now in the United States. With the news regarding all the missing children, that has become a major priority.
Donald Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, said finding the missing vulnerable children will be a top priority.
These children, depending on the circumstances, won’t be instantly deported. First, there will be attempts to find their parents in their home countries, or other close family members. Second, especially those who were either used as slave labor or worse, sex slaves, will need to be taken care of and also testify against everyone they can identify who abused them. This includes all those bureaucrats who let this happen. (I’m not talking about those who were ordered to do so and weren’t happy about it. I’m talking about people like Mayorkas and Becerra)
Depending on the situation, I suspect that many people who want the illegals deported will be ok with letting the victims of crimes stay, provided they can’t find their families in their home countries, and make sure that they are never harmed again. I just hope that it isn’t to late for some of these kids. I don’t mean that they’ve been murdered, (Although that probably has happened), but they haven’t become so twisted that there is no saving them. Those will need to be sent back.
As for the people in the Biden Maladministration that let this happen? I hope that Kash Patel and Pam Bondi are putting together an investigative plan to identify, indict, and try everyone involved. While there are those who are saying that we must just let some things go to “Unify” the country, this isn’t one of them.
