Good day all. The recent election of the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump, to a second, nonconsecutive term, has set off the Democrats in ways that make his victory in 2016 against Felonia von Pantsuit, look like a minor disappointment. It’s become so bad that Trump Derangement Syndrome is actually becoming a real mental illness.
We are seeing various outright terrorist attacks against Tesla dealerships and owners. Bureaucrats are literally blockading their office doors and refusing to allow DOGE people entry. Then we have the anger against UpChuck Schumer for folding like a cheap suit and voting in favor of the clean Continuing resolution. That last one has really set off the Democrat Base. Now the Democrats might actually be breaking apart. Here are the details from Newsmax:
Democrats reportedly face a “historic” crisis.
That’s because the party’s base never has been as angry with Democrats in Congress as being displayed now.
Progressives and liberals in the party are irate that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and other senate Democrats helped pass a continuing resolution to avoid a government shutdown.
I’ve mentioned this before. UpChuck figured out that this time, not only tdid the Democrats not have a winning hand this time, if they shut down the government, it would have played right into President Trump’s hands.
Grassroot party members want Democrats to go all out in fighting President Donald Trump and the GOP agenda.
There is a small problem with this. These moonbats are in the minority. The majority of Voters, and most Americans, like what President Trump is doing.
A recent CNN poll showed that 57% of Democrats or Democrat-leaning independents said Democrats should mainly work to stop the Republican agenda. In September 2017, 74% said the party should work with Republicans to try to get some Democrat ideas into legislation.
Notice that the CNN poll only talked with Democrats? Generally, most pollsters tend to weight their polls to the left and have a bad habit of under-representing the center/right. Part of that problem is that the people in the Center or the right won’t talk to pollsters. They consider them to be biased and the questions asked to be stacked in favor of a certain viewpoint.
As for pushing the Democrat’s ideas? We just suffered through four years of that and the country is far worse for it. President Trump was reelected to a second term because the majority of people have had it with the Democrat’s “Ideas.”
For the first time in the Quinnipiac University Poll, though, congressional Democrats are underwater with their own voters in approval ratings in the annual first-quarter congressional polling.
Now the Newsmax article, and the connected Politico article go into great details on the polls and what it could mean. With Politco, which is a Democrat news site, (In other words, a propaganda site), they are rather concerned at what the polls are showing for the current Democrat office holders. They’re very concerned that it could be a repeat of what happened, and is still happening to some extent, for the Republican party.
Back in 2014, one of the more notorious establishment GOP RINO’s was booted out in his primary. This was Eric Cantor, who was being seen by the Washington Uniparty cocktail circuit as the next Speaker of the House. The problem with Cantor is that he stopped paying any attention to the concerns of his constituents, listing instead to the Chamber of Commerce and Country Club Republicans on Wall Street. The Democrat Elites are now concerned that this might happen to them.
The outlet, (Politico), said the “intensity of the anger roiling the party is at a historic level.”
Still, Democrat voters are not indicating a desire to pull the party to the left or the right. Recent Gallup polling found that 45% say they want the party to become more moderate, 29% say they want it to become more liberal, and 22% say they want it to stay the same.
That 45% that want the Democrat Party to become more moderate are the ones that President Trump and the Republicans have been talking to. (This is different then how the Democrats deal with most of their constituents. They don’t talk TO them, they talk AT them) The 29% that want the party to become more liberal? These are the ones who think Josef Stalin and Mao tse Tung are to conservative. The remaining 22%? They’re just plain old garden variety socialists and communists.
Progressives, however, know in what direction they want to go.
Oh this should be very entertaining, much like an ongoing train wreck is entertaining.
Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., told The New York Times that he’s trying to “rally people to get engaged in the political process and run as independents outside of the Democratic Party.”
Yeah, good luck with that idea Bernie. Many states have the system rigged to prevent independent candidates from even getting on the ballot, never mind actually winning.
That might not guarantee success, as third parties continue to see their vote shares decline and polarization between the two major parties continues to rise, Politico reported. Thus, the odds of dissatisfied Democrats voting for non-Democrat candidates are extremely low.
This isn’t surprising. Most of the Democrats are what is known as “Yellow dog Democrats.” It doesn’t matter who the person is as long as it’s a Democrat. The real fights will happen in the Primaries.
With 13 Democrat-held Senate seats up for reelection next year, younger, insurgent candidates more closely aligned with the party base could emerge to rattle veterans.
Those younger candidates are also turning off most of the voters. They are hard core leftists, socialists and outright communists. Most of them do not have a very firm grasp on reality either. While they might defeat some of the Jurassic Democrats, they will have problems in the general elections.
They will push their usual WOKE, DEI totalitarian Marxist Utopian views and that will turn off a large majority of the voters. (Surprisingly, most parents want to keep the perverts that the Democrats support far away from their children. Funny that) They will also learn that the Republicans will be waiting with candidates that will be far more attractive to the voters, especially if President Trump turns things around. (Which many expect him to do unless the Leftard Obama and Biden judges slow him down) For me, I’m going to sit back and enjoy the show.
