Good day all. Recently Immigration and Customs Enforcement, (ICE), raided an underground nightclub in Colorado Springs Sunday, (April 27th), and rounded up over 100 illegal aliens.
It turns out that most of the illegals were either TdA or MS-13. What was also discovered was that a number of active duty military personnel were on sight as well, either working as security or as patrons. Here are the details from Fox News:
Federal authorities announced Sunday that more than a hundred illegal immigrants were detained in a massive raid at an underground nightclub in Colorado Springs that officials say was “frequented by TdA and MS-13 terrorists.”
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Rocky Mountain Division led a multi-agency operation early Sunday morning and arrested 114 illegal immigrants at the venue that contained more than 200 people inside.
So this was a multi-agency raid? I find it interesting that more then half the people there were illegal aliens. The first thing that came to mind when I saw this story was a standard nightclub scene from the old Miami Vice series then Crockett and Tubbs were undercover. In that show, almost everyone in the location was involved in the drug trade.
Authorities uncovered drugs, including pink cocaine, as well as evidence of prostitution and multiple firearms during the operation, according to the DEA.
“@DHSgov has taken more than 100 illegal aliens into custody,” DEA Rocky Mountain said in a post on X on Sunday. “Drugs and weapons have also been seized at this underground nightclub in Colorado Springs.”
One question to be asked is, where were the local authorities? The answer to that is very simple. While I suspect local police were aware of this place, they were forced to stand down by the politicians running things. Why? Because Colorado Springs is a sanctuary city as is the state of Colorado. Local and state law enforcement authorities were probably forbidden from even informing the DoJ about what was going on. (Any bets on a few officers making “anonymous” calls to the DEA or ICE?)
Attorney General Pamela Bondi applauded the operation, which included 300 officials across multiple agencies, including the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
“This morning @DEAHQ apprehended over 100 illegal aliens at an underground night club frequented by Tda and MS-13 terrorists,” Bondi said in a post on X. “Cocaine, meth, and pink cocaine was seized.”
Still no mention of local law enforcement.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security Investigations, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office and the Colorado Springs Police Department were also involved in the operation.
FINALLY! I don’t know much about the El Paso Sheriff, but most of the Sheriffs around the country won’t hesitate to help out ICE if asked. In fact a few have been threatened by Leftard Democrat Soros Attorneys General for doing so in violation of some state law or regulation.
In videos posted of the operation, U.S. Postal Service and IRS agents are seen arresting illegal aliens at the nightclub, showing the Trump administration using a whole-of-government approach to carrying out deportations.
Sheesh! They sent in everyone including the tax collectors. I suspect that there may be a lot of unpaid taxes at this place and that most of the people there never bothered to file a 1040 form. If I were an illegal alien and the IRS was after me, you couldn’t get me on a plane out of the United States fast enough.
One local official blamed the blue state’s leadership.
“Colorado without question has been a hub for illegal immigration due to the sanctuary policies of the city of Denver in conjunction with radical legislation (including this session) from the State Capitol affirming Colorado’s sanctuary status,” Douglas County Sheriff Darren Weekly told The Gazette, which first reported the story. “As the Sheriff of Douglas County I will do everything I can within Colorado law to support our federal partners. This, in turn, helps keep my community safe.”
That is probably the major problem with Colorado. The Democrats control the state and are doing their usual bang up job of wrecking everything they touch. The current govno of Colorado, Jared Polis, has actually denied that there are any criminal gangs, (TdA in this case), taking over apartment complexes. He continued to say this even when actual video evidence was presented. He’s since backed away from that stupidity.
Now another problem was the discovery of a number of active duty military personnel on site. Some were there for the “Party” but others were acting as security.
About a dozen U.S. active-duty service members were also found at the club, special DEA Rocky Mountain agent Jonathan Pullen told multiple outlets. The service members were inside the club as patrons or working as armed security.
“I think that everybody that goes into a nightclub at 3 o’clock in the morning knows what they’re getting into,” Pullen told Denver 7. “The active duty servicemembers who were there will be dealt with by Army CID [Criminal Investigation Division]. They were on scene with us, and they are partners in this investigation.”
Some of these people are going to be ripped up one side and down the other, then get to spend the next month digging holes and then filling them in again. (Wash, rinse, repeat) The ones providing armed security? Yeah, they’re out as soon as the military gets the paperwork done. They will be lucky of they aren’t given dishonorable discharges. They had to know that there were criminal activities going on there.
Colorado Springs Chief of Police Adrian Vasquez said the department participated in the operation “solely to address criminal violations” affecting community safety and is not authorized to conduct immigration enforcement under state law.
In other words, they were called in to provide traffic control. I suspect that a fair number of the rank and file officers aren’t to thrilled with their city and state governments right now.
“I want to be clear that it is the responsibility of the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) to investigate criminal activity and make arrests when appropriate. This operation was the result of a months-long investigation into serious criminal activity in our community,” Vasquez said. “While the investigation is ongoing, arrests for these criminal violations are expected. CSPD is aware that our federal partners also detained multiple people for suspected immigration violations during the operation.”
Please excuse me if I don’t believe a word you just said. I suspect that once ICE found out about this place, they put together the raid in very short order. (Like in a couple of weeks at most) Tom Homan and Kristi Noem aren’t fooling around, unlike the last bunch. As soon as they confirmed a group of illegals were in this place, they simply picked the best time to swoop in and round up as many as possible.
Now we need to figure out how to deal with these city and state governments that are actively aiding illegal aliens and illegal immigration. This is going to be very tricky to do of course, what with the 10th Amendment and states rights and all. However, it’s one thing to not assist the Federal Government in rounding up illegals and quite another to put things into place to interfere with ICE operations and by extension, protecting the criminals coming into the United States.
The recent actions by the Democrats shows that they are a direct threat to the United States, American citizens and those who have lawfully come to the United States. We have reached critical mass in this country and I am very worried that a certain political party wants an explosion to occur. I don’t think they understand what will happen if they get their way. Hopefully, the 2026 midterms will throw all these Democrats out of office and we can really clean out the illegals.
