Trump admin looking at sending Harvard grants to Trade schools

Good day all. Recently, the Trump Administration decided that they had enough of Harvard’s antisemitism and racism. The administration started turning off the money taps and canceled a number of grants and contracts.

Now President Trump has come up with an idea to put the funds that were going to go to Harvard to something that is actually useful. Trade schools. Here are the details from Newsmax:

President Donald Trump threatened to redirect $3 billion in federal grants, originally targeted for Harvard, to U.S. trade schools.

President Trump should do just that. We have plenty of Gender Studies majors and nowhere near enough plumbers, electricians and mechanics.

Trump’s comments on his social media platform come less than a week after his administration sought to block the Ivy League school from enrolling foreign students.

And Harvard promptly ran off to one their pet Obama and Biden judges to block the executive branch from doing their constitutional duties. (I wrote about that previously)

The president and his administration have withheld federal funding to schools due to their diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs and on-campus anti-Israel protests.

It isn’t just the Trump administration that’s turning off the money taps. A number of Alumni have also had it with Harvard’s antisemitic and racist policies and have cut their donations as well.

“I am considering taking Three Billion Dollars of Grant Money away from a very antisemitic Harvard, and giving it to TRADE SCHOOLS all across our land. What a great investment that would be for the USA, and so badly needed!!!” Trump posted Monday morning on Truth Social.

As I said before, I think this is actually a good idea. It used to be that if you wanted to be successful, you needed to get a college degree. That started changing about 25-30 years ago when colleges starting providing what I refer to as “Garbage” degrees. When Obama made all College loans to be done through the government, colleges and universities saw this as a great way to increase their profits. Now you have all these people graduating with massive student loan debt and no realistic job prospects.

Compare this with someone who goes to a trade school. In any number of cases, these students are actually getting paid as they apprentice for their future jobs. Once they complete their education and, depending on the trade, pick up their certifications, these people can make 6 figures a year with no debt. What you are seeing now is a Starbucks Barista with a 6 figure debt serving up a Grande Latte to a certified welder roughly the same age who’s only debt might be the mortgage on the house he or she just bought.

Trump has frozen some $3 billion in federal grants to Harvard in recent weeks, complaining that it has hired Democrats, “Radical Left idiots and ‘bird brains'” as professors. Harvard, a private university, has sued to restore the funding, saying the cuts are an unconstitutional attack on its free speech rights and unlawful.

Without any doubt, Harvard is using lawyers who are graduates of the Harvard Law School in this suit. This should warn you away from retaining any lawyer who may be a recent graduate. (Or ever went there in the first place) Their claim that this is a 1st amendment case is laughable. No one is blocking Harvard and the idiots attending are working there from saying stupid things.

What President Trump is doing is saying “We aren’t going to pay for this drivel.” Of course, I fully expect them to get an Obama or Biden judge who will order the Trump Administration to pay for Harvard’s speech. Far to many of the judges on the bench came from Harvard or one of the other Ivy League law schools. Of course they’re going to protect their alma maters.

Most of that grant money is appropriated by Congress for the National Institutes of Health to disburse to fund biomedical research after a lengthy application process by individual scientists, work that is not typically done at trade schools.

Ok, this means that President Trump will need to go to Congress and have them redirect the funding from trashy ivy league schools such as Harvard and to schools that actually teach people who to actually do things besides tending bar.

Harvard did not respond to a request for comment on Monday. The White House did not respond to questions about the specific funds Trump wants to repurpose or how it could be reallocated to trade schools under the law.

I suspect this may have been a spur of the moment idea and now President Trump is having his people look into if and how this can be done. I’m not surprised Harvard hasn’t said anything. They’re probably confused. These elitists don’t associate with “Tradesmen.” They have minions who handle that if there is a need to have something repaired or upgraded.

There is a lot going on with the Trump administration and the Deep State, which Harvard is a paid up senior member of. We are seeing a sea change and the Elitists, both in and out of government are fighting it tooth and nail. What we need to do is help the Trump administration utterly crush Harvard. The worst case is they fail and end up closing. The best case? The see the error of their ways and make changes to restore the University’s standing as a top school. Sadly, I think Harvard is going to need to scrape rock bottom before they changes their ways.
