Good day all. As the fallout, no pun intended, of the attack on Iran’s nuclear weapons facilities continues, the Democrats have been in their usual full screech mode. With the exception of Senator Fetterman, (Brain Damaged-PA), the Democrats have been uniform in their condemnation of President Trump.
The operation, code named Operation Midnight Hammer, involved a number of B-1 stealth bombers carrying GBU 57 deep penetration bunker buster bombs along with a bunch of Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles. While there was news that the B-2’s had left the United States, it was thought that they were going to the base we have in the Indian Ocean, Diego Garcia. They might have gone there of course, but as we know, they made a small side trip.
One of the reasons, if not the primary reason that the mission security was so good was that the Trump Administration kept the details very close to the vest. President Trump informed the Republican House and Senate leadership, but didn’t say a word to the Democrat Leadership. Here are some of the details from the Communist News Network:
President Donald Trump and his team were in contact with top congressional Republicans before his strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, but top Democrats were not told of his plans until after the bombs had dropped, according to multiple people familiar with the plans.
The top two Republicans in Congress, Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune, were both notified ahead of the strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, according to multiple GOP sources.
It makes sense to inform certain critical people in the House Majority leadership. They wold need to know. However, the Democrats aren’t in the leadership and were ignored until after the attack and our planes had left Iranian airspace.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries was notified shortly before Trump announced the attack on Truth Social — but after the attack occurred, according to a person familiar with the discussions.
Jim Himes, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, was not briefed before the strikes — even though his GOP counterpart on the panel, Chairman Rick Crawford, was in contact with the White House, per a person familiar.
Sen. Mark Warner, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, also was not briefed before the attack, per a source familiar, but the GOP chairman, Tom Cotton, was briefed.
There is a reason that the Democrats weren’t told. It would have been a race to the phones to get the story to their propagandists in the Legacy Media. There is no doubt that the media would have blasted the story all over the place with the intent of forcing President Trump to abort the mission.
The worst case scenario would have been Iran’s defenses, what was left of them after the tender ministrations of the Israeli Air Force over the last week or so, managing to hit and shoot down a B-2. This sounds like a conspiracy, but the Democrats have gone so far over the edge in their blind hatred of President Trump, that I have no doubt that at least one of them would have called the Iranian UN Consulate in New York to warn them.
Instead, the Trump Administration decided to tell the Democrats nothing. Because they didn’t know, they couldn’t blow the operation and put our forces at risk. The mission was a success and Iran’s nuclear weapons infrastructure has been blown up and/or buried.
This may sound like I am accusing the Democrat Party of being willing to commit outright treason in order to “Stop Trump!” Well, if the shoe fits and all that. The Democrats have proven that they can’t be trusted. For decades, if it was something that might benefit the Democrat Party, then aiding and abetting actual enemies of the United States then they wouldn’t hesitate to blow military operations. All President Trump did was keep the temptation away from the Democrats and insure that the Midnight Hammer was a success.

Well, that will teach me to pay attention to anything CNN says. The White House is reporting that, shock and horror, CNN lied and that the Democrat leadership was actually informed.

I wrote the initial part of this post last night (Sunday June 23rd), and didn’t see this from the White House until I was working on my first cup of coffee the next morning. Apparently, the only one in the Democrat Leadership that wasn’t called was Jeffries, and that was due to his being out of touch. (Makes me wonder, was he ignoring the call, or was he doing “something” else?)
I have been reading about the general responses by the Democrats, and, as usual, they are actively supporting our enemies. I wonder if has crossed their puny little minds what would happen if Iran did develop nukes? They have stated that if/when they get them, they will use them on the United States and Israel.
At least that won’t happen now. The only question at the moment is what is going happen next? President Trump has no interest in putting troops in Iran. While he might be open to regime change, I don’t see him actually pushing it. Could Iran activate sleeper cells in the United States?
They are that stupid of course, but it would backfire very badly on them. The next strikes would be against their leaders, all of them, and also reducing Iran’s infrastructure, not just their military infrastructure, to rubble. Roads, bridges, power plants everything. Basically reducing Iran back to a preindustrial state. Then, unlike every time since the end of World War Two, we would just walk away. No more “We broke, so we need to fix it.”
If that were to happen, I have little doubt that the Democrats would whine about that as well. I’m sure they would be upset that they wouldn’t be getting their “Cut” of the “Rebuilding” contracts. Well, at least with regards to the notifications of the “Party of Treason,” I’ve been corrected. Now to see CNN tossed on the ash heap of history. (Which seems to be underway)
