Good day all. Things are going from bad to worse for the Elite Ivy League schools, especially Harvard. Things really started going downhill after the Hamas October 7th attack on Israel and Israel’s decision to put an end to them. Almost overnight, you saw anti-Israel and antisemitic protests with out right assaults on Jewish students.

This led to some congressional committees raking the school administrations from all the elite universities over the coals. (Which is still occurring) Many of the schools are changing how they do things to align with things like equal protection, ending racist enrollment practices and dealing with these Nazi like antisemites. Harvard isn’t one of them.
With the reelection of Donald Trump and his return to the White House, Harvard has been getting the equivalent of an anal exam with a baseball bat wrapped in razor wire. Harvard, rather then take the hint that perhaps, they have gone to close to the edge, has decided that jumping off is the right thing to do. Now the Trump Administration is looking at revoking Harvard’s accreditation. Here are some of the details from The Hill:
The Education Department and Department of Health and Human Services told Harvard University’s accreditor Wednesday there is “strong evidence to suggest the school may no longer meet” accreditation standards.
The federal departments said Harvard was found in violation of antidiscrimination laws and therefore its accreditor needs to work with the university or take away accreditation if Harvard fails to remedy the situation.
The Hill then quotes the Secretary of Education, Linda McMahon on the reasoning behind asking the New England Commission of Higher Education to either work with Harvard to correct the issues or strip them of their accreditation. As to what evidence or justification? There have been a number of suits brought against Harvard that have shown that Harvard does discriminate. Add to that the video evidence of the “Protests” and Harvard is in some deep doo doo.
The Commission released a FAQ sheet regarding the situation after Harvard was found out of Title VI compliance by the administration in June, clarifying that the federal government’s findings does not mean the university automatically gets accreditation taken away.
Of course not. There is always a period of time to allow a school to take corrective actions. The question is, will Harvard actually do so, ignore the whole thing, or just keep digging themselves even deeper into trouble?
The commission also said the federal government cannot force it to take away accreditation from a university.
“The Commission’s policies and procedures, in accord with federal regulation, give institutions up to four years to come into compliance when found by the Commission to be out of compliance, which can be extended for good cause. Institutions in a non-compliance status remain accredited during this period of time,” it said.
Well, that’s that then. There is no way that Commission is going to take down Harvard. It doesn’t matter what Harvard does, either pro or anti. These “Commissions” are about as balanced and unbiased as your typical Progressive Liberal Democrat Harvard Graduate. In other words, Not at all.
A loss of accreditation is commonly called a “death sentence” among higher education advocates and has been rarely used.
And with Harvard, I can’t see them actually pulling the trigger no matter what they find. However, this is just one front of an all out war on WOKE racist organizations.
The administration has targeted Harvard across multiple avenues, including its federal funding, after it rejected a list of demands for administrative and academic changes.

The Federal Funding is something that is going to really hurt. It might force Harvard to actually dip into that $50 billion+ dollar endowment. Harvard is suing to keep their access to Taxpayer funds.
The school has filed a pair of lawsuits against the administration, saying its academic freedom is at risk.
The arrogance of the Harvard Administration is incredible. They literally think that they can do whatever they want and can expect the proles and serfs to pay for it. If they are so concerned about “Academic Freedom,” then they can stop taking any Taxpayer funds. I think the end is coming for Harvard unless they make major structural changes, they will end up closing in the next 5-10 years.
