Good day all. One of the “Nicknames” for the Republican Party is “The Party of Stupid.” This is due to certain members, generally Republicans in Name Only or TransRepublicans, who push policies that does nothing but warm the hearts of Democrats. It looks like we have another group of RINO’s who have completely missed the feelings of Americans regarding Illegal Aliens.
This bunch has sent a letter to President Trump to end the raids by ICE and to create a path to legal status. Here are some of the details from the Center Square:
Six California Republican state lawmakers sent a letter to President Donald Trump urging Immigration and Customs Enforcement to avoid “sweeping raids” and create “a path to legal status” for “non-criminal undocumented immigrants.”

“We have heard from employers in our districts that recent ICE raids are not only targeting undocumented workers, but also creating widespread fear among other employees, including those with legal immigration status,” wrote the lawmakers. “we urge you to direct ICE and DHS to focus their enforcement operations on criminal immigrants, and when possible to avoid the kinds of sweeping raids that instill fear and disrupt the workplace.”
A few things here. First, knowingly employing an illegal alien is a crime. Are you saying that these employers are hiring illegals? Second, legal resident aliens don’t have anything to worry about as long as they are legal and obey the laws like everyone else. They might be held up for a few minutes, but once the green card is produced and verified, they get a “Thank you for your time, have a nice day.” and are sent on their way. Finally, the raids are quite popular with most Americans. Even in Chicago, you had people applauding ICE when they started carting off illegal aliens.

Signatories included state Sen. Minority Leader Brian Jones, R-San Diego. Jones authored a bill that failed in committee that would have required the prisons and jails in California to provide requested release dates to federal immigration officials for individuals convicted of serious or violent felonies or wobblers — crimes serious enough to be prosecuted as either a felony or a misdemeanor.
Did someone drop something on this idiot’s head? How else can you explain forcing the state to provide the release dates of criminals who are in the United States illegally with “Stop the raid s and lets have an amnesty!”
“We also call on your leadership to modernize our immigration process to allow non-criminal undocumented immigrants with longstanding ties to our communities a path toward legal status,” the letter continued. “America needs a system that reflects both compassion and lawfulness — one that upholds sovereignty while recognizing the reality on the ground.”
How does no strike you? Those people have had years to get their status cleared up and did nothing. Now we have a president who is doing something about the millions of criminals in the country. Perhaps these illegals should leave before they’re discovered. They can apply for actual legal visas and eventually green cards. Their amnesty? They leave and we don’t know they were here illegally. Now I do believe that the entire immigration system is in need of a major overhaul, but that’s something for another day.
“The last President to successfully tackle this issue was Ronald Reagan nearly 40 years ago, and it is long past time to modernize our immigration policies,” the lawmakers wrote.
Reagan’s 1986 Immigration Reform and Control Act allowed approximately three million undocumented immigrants who had continuously resided in the United States since before Jan. 1, 1982, to secure legal status. The last time a Republican presidential candidate won California was 1988 when Vice President George H.W. Bush was elected president.
Yeah, you don’t want to go there. Reagan made what he thought was a locked in deal with Tip O’Neil and the Democrats to secure the border and make other changes. What happened? The Democrats shafted Reagan. He stated that he regretted agreeing to that amnesty and that it was a mistake. We also have another problem. This isn’t three million, we’re talking anywhere up to 20 million people in the United States illegally.
“Finally, we urge you to expand and reform the H-2A and H-2B visa programs to authorize more legal guest workers across the entire economy, and to streamline the process to make it easier for vital industries to get the workers they need,” wrote the lawmakers. “From construction to hospitality to food processing, California’s employers are struggling to fill positions.”
That might be doable, but only under very strict circumstances. The visas would be temporary and once expired, the recipients would have to leave and reapply. Second, no Americans are trying for the jobs. Third, and this is a big one, these workers are paid the same as Americans with the same benefits.
The letter’s signatories included primary author Sen. Suzette Valladares, R-Santa Clarita, along with Sens. Jones, Rosilicie Ochoa-Bogh, R-Yucaipa, and Assemblymembers Heath Flora, R-Ripon; Diane Dixon, R-Newport Beach, and Laurie Davies, R-Laguna Niguel.
And every single one of these RINO’s needs to be primaried. I can think of only one reason these morons decided to try and shaft the Republican Party and President Trump. They’re afraid they might lose their next general election and have to go and get real jobs. Well guess what? I’m calling on people in their districts to find someone who can stand for election in the primaries and defeat these losers.
If they’re worried that “Well it will help the Democrats if we lose our primaries, so be it. It’s Kalifornistan and that state is circling the drain anyway. As far as most Americans are concerned, it’s a lost cause. You have failed to understand what the mood of the country is with regards to illegal aliens. Americans, and quite a few legal resident aliens, (Those who followed the law to come here), want them gone asap. Now we want you gone as well.
