Good day all. Recently there was a terrible traffic accident in Florida that killed three people. The accident was caused by an illegal alien with a Kalifornistan Commercial Drivers License. He made an illegal U-turn and car slammed into the truck. Three people were killed in that crash.
It turned out that the driver couldn’t read English road signs and that he had been in the United States illegally for a while. However, the state of Kalifornistan deemed him worthy of receiving a CDL. (They probably registered him to vote as well) In response to this, Florida has decided to provide access to ICE to the state’s weigh stations. Here are the details from the New York Post:
All truck weigh stations in Florida are being turned into ICE checkpoints after last week’s deadly big-rig crash involving an illegal migrant, officials said Monday.
State Attorney General James Uthmeier, referring to “the serious tragedy that happened down in southeast Florida,” announced the new partnership between federal agencies and the state agricultural inspection stations at a press conference in Live Oak.
“Someone that should never have been given a driver’s license, much less a CDL license to drive larger commercial vehicles, engaged in reckless behavior that took three lives,” Uthmeier said, surrounded by law-enforcement officials.
This is yet another problem with Kalifornistan and other Democrat controlled states. They are so dead set on putting illegal aliens ahead of American citizens and legal resident aliens, that they aren’t actually verifying that they can be in the United States, that if they are immigrants, that their visa’s allow them to work and, most importantly, that they are actually qualified to drive big rigs.
Harjinder Singh, 28 of India had been living under the radar in the US for six years when he allegedly pulled an illegal U-turn in an 18-wheeler on the Florida Turnpike on Aug. 12, killing three people. He fled to California but was nabbed by US marshals and flown back to Florida to stand trial.
This individual went to Kalifornistan for a simple reason. Kalifornistan is a sanctuary state dedicated to protecting illegal aliens. He assumed, incorrectly, that they would protect him from Florida.

Monday’s move by Sunshine State authorities will see immigration enforcement at all checkpoints operated by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) along major interstate highways.
I can see all the blue haired progressives screaming about the state using resources to help ICE. They keep forgetting that while the State governments can’t be compelled to enforce Federal Laws regarding immigration enforcement, there is nothing stopping them from doing so of their own volition. It also looks like this new system is already paying dividends.
Uthmeier also revealed at the briefing that another illegal migrant was caught driving a commercial vehicle in Bay County in northwest Florida on Sunday.
“The individual, Roberto Carlos Vergara, has been arrested and is now under an ICE hold,” Uthmeier said.
“There’s no telling how many illegal aliens are in this country driving large commercial vehicles and putting American families in a safety risk every single day,” he said.
“And that’s efforts like what Agricultural Law Enforcement Commissioner Simpson are doing are so important. We have got to protect our American citizens from the dangers of the open border crisis, and illegal aliens that may be engaging in behavior that injures people,” he said.
It’s not just commercial trucks that are being operated by illegal aliens, it’s regular cars. We see this in the news all the time. An illegal alien, maybe with a license, crashes into someone and causes injuries or worse, kills someone. Those who actually have a license will have gotten it from a state that is run by Democrats.
One of the things that should change things is the use of Real ID. Regardless of your opinion of it, (I’m not thrilled about it at all), it requires people who are getting state ID’s, either drivers licenses or just a non-driver ID, to provide documentation on their citizenship. It’s a pain in the neck of course. For legal resident aliens, they can’t be issued a real id license. Their green cards are considered Real ID so they can use those if they need to enter government buildings.
Sadly, I don’t think the families of the victims of this illegal alien have any recourse to go after the State of Klaifornistan for issuing the license in the first place. I hope I’m wrong. I would love to see a massive lawsuit that costs the state billions in a judgment. Since that might not be possible, the next step would be the flat out refusal to accept CDL licenses issued by Kalifornistan until they clean up their mess. In any case, something must be done to punish states that put illegal aliens ahead of Americans and lawful resident aliens.

We live in Venice, fl and have our groceries delivered from Walmart. Most of the delivery drivers can’t speak English and can only find our house because of gps. Seems like huge liability for Walmart if something happens.
And the trucking company that hires them then has to send someone to pick up the idled truck and its cargo. Great. Long haul trucker salaries have been stagnnant for quite a long time. It used tto be a solid salary.
So don’t recognize California or Washington state CDL’s without a Real ID. Confiscate their trucks and cargoes if they don’t have both.
Refusing to accept the licenses might happen. Confiscating the trucks? That is a problem and the cargo is to much. Most of that is small packages for a number of people who have no idea who is handling the transportation.
