Which Leftard groups will the DoJ investigate?

Good day all. With the reports that the criminal who assassinated Charlie Kirk indicating that he either had told people what he was going to do or had active assistance, the FBI has been looking at the people he associated with. That investigation is ongoing.

However, one thing that has reached critical mass is any tolerance for groups that have been fomenting violence in the United States. For years we have seen violent protests breaking out whenever conservative groups happen to gather. When these criminals do get arrested, there is an infrastructure in place to bail them out and provide legal assistance.

Now the DoJ wants to know who is actually paying for all this Initially, it sounded like the Trump administration was going after all of these groups. Instead, they are limiting it to those they suspect of aiding and abetting in the criminal activities. Here are the details from the Daily Signal:

The Trump administration will only investigate left-wing groups with a provable tie to violence following the assassination of conservative leader Charlie Kirk, an administration official told The Daily Signal. The focus of investigations will be Antifa-like groups involved in the online conspiracy to assassinate Turning Point USA founder Kirk on Sept. 10, the source said.

This actually makes sense for a number of reasons. One is logistical. There are only so many investigative assets available and they need to prioritize things. Second, and far more importantly, President Trump, Attorney General Bondi and FBI Director Patel do not want to be accused of doing what Merrick Garland and Christopher Wray did. Weaponize the DoJ to go after anyone who opposed the Democrat party.

This comes after Vice President JD Vance and White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller on Monday discussed plans to “go after” leftist nongovernmental organizations due to Kirk’s killing.

We’re going to go after the NGO network that foments, facilitates, and engages in violence,” Vance said.

We are going to channel all of the anger that we have over the organized campaign that led to this assassination, to uproot and dismantle these terrorist networks,” Miller said.

Stephen Miller if very big on over the top statements. Vice President Vance was a close personal friend of Charlie Kirk and he is flat out enraged with all the Leftard violence that has been going on over the years aimed at Republicans, conservatives and anyone who didn’t to the Progressive Liberal Democrat line. These were off the cuff remarks and not policy announcements.

Left-wing groups that don’t provide material support to violence will not be investigated because criticism of conservatives is protected as free speech, the administration official said.

What the DoJ is going to look for is who is paying these groups. We already know that the Democrats will hire “Rent-a-mobs” if they can’t be sure anyone will actually show up to a protest. They also pay for all the “Spontaneously painted signs” that were spontaneously done up at a printing shop. While these may be questionable, they probably aren’t illegal.

What is illegal is providing funds and resources to groups like Antifa and others that attack federal agents, threaten Republican officeholders, and assault people that get in their way or try to report on their criminal activities. (Antifa primarily)

In a video address the night of Kirk’s death, President Donald Trump said his administration “will find each and every one of those who contributed to this atrocity and to other political violence, including the organizations that fund it and support it.”

If an organization is found to be a material supporter of terrorism or violence, it could lose its legal status, the leadership could be punished, and individuals involved in a conspiracy could be criminally prosecuted, the administration official said. Groups found to be committing crimes could also have their assets forfeited.

I can think of one group or individual that should be very concerned right now.

There are other groups as well, and they are already being looked at for ties to terrorist organizations.

Students for Justice in Palestine is an example of an organization that could be investigated for inciting violence on college campuses, the official said. At George Mason University in the Washington suburbs of Northern Virginia, police found guns, ammunition, and Hamas and Hezbollah paraphernalia at the president of the SJP chapter’s house.

While SJP can and should be investigated, the DoJ also needs to follow the money to see who is paying for all this. Interestingly, a lot of these groups have suffered a serious shortfall in funding when USAID was DOGE’d and shut down. I’m pretty sure that they are still tracking down where all the money over the years actually ended up. It’s interesting that a number of radical groups suddenly had to start scrambling for money when they used to have a fairly steady income.

The Supreme Court’s 1969 ruling in Brandenburg v. Ohio established a two-pronged test to evaluate speech acts: Speech can be prohibited if it is “directed at inciting or producing imminent lawless action” and it is “likely to incite or produce such action.”

Attorney General Pam Bondi recently came under fire for saying the Justice Department would “absolutely target you, go after you, if you are targeting anyone with hate speech.” She later clarified that the “Department of Justice will be unabashed in our efforts to root out credible, violent threats.”

We will investigate organizations that pursue illegal activities, engage in political violence, violate our civil rights, and commit tax or nonprofit fraud,” Bondi’s statement said.

One of two things needs to happen with regards to Attorney General Pam Bondi. She either gets a good speech writer and learns to keep her mouth shut, and actually does what is expected of her as AG, or she needs to go. Pam Bondi is no Merrick Garland, but she keeps putting her foot so far into her mouth that she needs unbutton her pants to tie her shoe. It took someone from the main Trump administration to fix Bondi’s statement.

The Trump administration will protect all free speech, unless it crosses into a call for violence, the official said.

There are a lot of Progressive Liberal groups that need to be looked at. Most are probably just a bunch of stupid leftards who aren’t aiding and abetting in criminal activities. However, without question, there are a few that are actively supporting the violent actions of groups like Antifa. I’ve also heard rumors that some of this support for these groups is coming from other countries.

Over the last 10+ days, we have seen an increase in Leftard violence. We have Charlie Kirk of course, and recently in New Hampshire we had two incidents. One was stopped before anything bad happened but the other resulted in the murder of a man at a wedding reception with others wounded or injured. This needs to be stopped and stopped hard before we have something really bad happen. Going after groups and people funding these thugs and bringing them to justice is a good place to start.
