Good day all. I had intended to post this on Sept. 30th, but real life got in the way.
On October 1st, the Federal Government’s authority to borrow money runs out. At that point, the only money that the government can spend is what comes in through taxes, tariffs, fees and fines. When that happens, the Federal Government will start laying off federal employees.

In the past, when the government laid off bureaucrats, they knew they would get back pay and other benefits along with a nice vacation. This time, things are different. President Trump and his administration aren’t just looking for temporary layoffs, they are planning for a full on RIF. (Reduction In Force) This has set of the unions. Here are the details from Newsmax:
The Trump administration’s plans for a mass reduction in force if a partial government shutdown begins at midnight Oct. 1 have drawn sharp criticism from AFL-CIO President Liz Shuler and other union leaders.
The Office of Management and Budget reportedly indicated Wednesday that mass firings could be on the table.

Congress remains deadlocked on a funding deal just days before the fiscal year ends. The House on Sept. 19 passed a stopgap spending bill to fund the federal government, but the measure failed in the Senate on Wednesday.
That is another issue of course. UpChuck Schumer and Hiccup Jeffries have been playing games. They basically want to return to the Democrats usual policies of tax spend borrow and spend. They also want to continue increasing their power, their wealth and generally screw over the American People. The Rank and File commies pretending to be Democrats are even worse. Unless they pass the bill that the House sent over, the shutdown commences at 12:00 Easter Time.

This is where the Trump Administration has decided to take the shutdown as an opportunity to rip the living guts out of the Deep State and their bureaucrats.
An OMB memo Wednesday directed agencies to “use this opportunity to consider reduction in force notices for all employees in programs, projects, or activities.” The directive applies if three conditions are met: discretionary funding lapses Oct. 1, no other funding is available, and the work is not “consistent with the president’s priorities.”

This is why the unions are beginning to flip out. Shutting down the government will allow the Trump Administration to bypass a lot of the garbage that the Unions have put into place to protect the Deep State and the Democrat Party. If there is a mass RIF and hundreds of thousands are permanently terminated, the unions are going to lose all those dues and the Democrats are going to take yet another hit to their finances.
“America’s federal workers — the hardworking people across the country who keep our essential government services running — have already suffered immensely from the chaos and destruction inflicted by this administration’s Project 2025/DOGE agenda,” Shuler said Thursday in a statement. “They are not pawns for the president’s political games.

The best way to fix the healthcare problems in this country is to get the Government the Hell out of it. Every time the government decides to “Help” people, things get a lot worse.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., are pushing to undo Medicaid cuts in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act that President Donald Trump signed July 4, The Hill reported. They said they are not opposed to a government shutdown if their demands are ignored.
Hiccup Jeffries is an idiot and can be ignored. UpChuck Schumer has managed to put himself between a rock and a hard place with a steamroller heading straight for him.

But Trump has held firm on the topic and abandoned a previously scheduled meeting with them, alleging they have “unserious and ridiculous demands.”

The Newsmax story continues with a number of quotes from they various union leaders whining about how mean President Trump is to their membership. What they fail to understand is that he just doesn’t care. He was reelected in a landslide to do a number of things, and one of them was to shut down all the departments and agencies that don’t do anything useful.

The Republicans are in the majority of both houses of Congress, however the Senate his the filibuster. This is why people say that 60 votes are needed to pass anything. The Republicans are listening to the voters out in the country and understand that people want major changes. The Democrats are interested in only protecting their power and bank accounts.
Now the Republicans, with a good hard shove from President Trump, are going to hold the Democrats to their 60 vote rule. If they don’t want to give President Trump the tools to rip the guts out of the Federal Government, then they need to come up with the required number of votes on their side before the deadline.
The issue for Schumer is that the Democrats are so full of hate and TDS that they will let the government shut down, thinking that the voters will become angry that all the goodies they’ve come to expect are not there. Normally, this would be the case as we saw with Obama when it was the Republicans who were refusing to vote for the continuing resolutions. He did everything he could to make it hurt.
What these moonbats have once again failed to understand is that President Trump has spent four years planning for things like this. His administration has made promises and has worked to keep them as best as he can. Now the Democrats are about to give him the keys to the bulldozer to flatten the deep state. The Democrats and the legacy media will ask if this is what we voted for. The answer?

$1 Trillion for free healthcare — if you are in this country illegally. Sorta of like buying voted.
I saw that and I’ve got something cooking offline.
