Good day all. Recently, I posted an entry on what charges could and could not be brought against the Seditious Six. Basically I said forget about Treason and Insurrection. No sooner do I saw that, then we have yet another Democrat Govno who seems to be moving toward full on insurrection.
One of the things that the Blue State Govno’s have been doing is trying to figure out how to best protect their future constituents, the millions of criminals and other Illegal Aliens. Now we have the Govno of Oregon flat out saying that that the state will investigate and charge Federal Agents who are enforcing federal immigration laws. Here are the details from Lifezette:
Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek, a proud lesbian (not that it matters, but she put it in the first paragraph of her website’s about section), said the state will investigate and potentially prosecute federal agents who carry out immigration enforcement actions inside Oregon.
In a video posted to Instagram, Kotek accused the Department of Homeland Security of using improper tactics and said the state would take legal action if federal officers violated Oregon law.
Has anyone bothered to tell this barking moonbat about the supremacy clause when it comes to enforcing federal laws? If so, it obviously went in one ear, rattled around in her empty head for a while and then went out the other ear.
In her statement, Kotek said the state supports public safety while also maintaining what she described as a welcoming environment for immigrants.
You mean criminals don’t you? An immigrant is a person from another country who applies for a visa with the intention of becoming a permanent resident alien and, hopefully, a naturalized citizen of the United States. Illegal Aliens are not immigrants.
“I believe as you do, in the rule of law and keeping our community safe,” she said.
“We also believe in being a welcoming place, where our immigrant and refugee community help our state thrive. The ongoing violent actions of the federal Department of Homeland Security are unacceptable — going after Oregonians, and stoking fear in the name of ‘immigration enforcement.’”
Kotek said DHS had engaged in behavior she described as dangerous to the public. She said the tactics used by federal officers were inconsistent with the state’s approach to law enforcement.
What law enforcement? When it comes to flat out assaults on Federal agents and attempts to destroy federal property, the police have been nowhere to be seen. This includes outright attacks by Antifa on people who support the actions of ICE or are simply reporting what’s going on.
“Excessive force, reckless tactics,” she said, had “put bystanders and law enforcement in danger,” which she said was “not how public safety works.”
Federal agents have actually been remarkably restrained in their responses to the use of lethal weapons against them. Frankly, I’m surprised that we haven’t seen a number of these “Protesters” shot and killed.
The governor said Oregon would take steps to scrutinize arrests, detentions, and other actions carried out by federal agents.
“We will investigate misconduct, and if a federal officer breaks Oregon law, they will be held accountable — just like anyone else. I will not tolerate reckless, or unconstitutional behavior in our state.”
Good luck with that. If you order Oregon law enforcement, and I’m assuming it will be the Oregon State Police, you’re going to runs smack into the Rule of FAFO. The first problem will be finding any officers who are stupid enough to actually try and arrest federal agents in the performance of their duties.
If, by some miracle, you do find a few, they are going to find out that interfering with Federal Law Enforcement personnel in the performance of their duties is a violation of federal law and will find themselves under arrest. After that, someone will kick Pam Bondi in the ass and tell her to do her job, and you govno, will find yourself facing federal charges.
Kotek’s comments come as federal immigration enforcement remains a point of conflict between state officials and the Department of Homeland Security.
This is not accurate. The Republican/Red State governors aren’t having any issue with DHS and ICE rounding up all the criminals. It’s only the Stage IV TDS suffering Democrat/Blue State governors that are having a problem. Now I really don’t see this Libtard Moonbat actually trying to arrest federal agents for doing their job.
If she did manage to grab a few, you would see a full federal swat raid on the police station they were being held along with warrants for the arrest of the Governor and everyone involved. The absolute worst case would be the Administration declaring Oregon in a State of Rebellion with all that entails.
However, I can see a few things that the Trump Administration might want to look into, specifically the Greater Idaho project. Perhaps it’s time for Washington to get involved. If a significant number of the Eastern Counties want to secede from the State of Oregon and join with Idaho, perhaps the Trump Administration can push things along. I think that would stir things up quite nicely and there is nothing more enjoyable then freeing the slaves from Democrat control.
