Good day all. Since President Trump first ran for office in 2016, the Legacy media has been covering him and also been working to destroy him, almost by any means possible.
President Trump, since his first press conference as President, has engaged in a no holds barred, take no prisoners style of engagement. Basically, he has shown that he won’t kowtow to the Main Stream Media or the White House Press Corps if they are working with an agenda instead of doing what they’re supposed to be doing, which is gather and publish information that people can use.
With his reelection, President Trump appointed Karoline Leavitt as his Press Secretary. Compared to the previous administrations Press Secretaries, Jen Psaki and later Karina Jean-Pierre, it was like the sun had risen. Psaki was a flat out liar and KJP was incompetent. Ms. Leavitt set the tone and the White House Press Corpse (Spelling intentional), was not happy.
Now we have one of the legacy Democrat propagandists calling for a boycott and not cover the Trump administration. Here are the details from The Gateway Pundit:
Former CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta urged mainstream media outlets to band together in “collective action” against President Donald Trump’s insults towards journalists. Acosta made the call to action on the network formerly known as MSNBC, now known as “MS NOW,” on Saturday morning.
The disgraced pundit’s comments came in response to an incident earlier this month where Trump told Bloomberg reporter Catherine Lucey to be “quiet, piggy” during a press event, after she pressed him on questions related to Jeffrey Epstein’s files.
I vaguely recall reading something about that interaction. I didn’t pay much attention to it, and frankly, most people didn’t. Apparently Acosta was offended. Besides, the Epstein files have, not unexpectedly, blown up in the faces of the Democrats. Their plan to use this to “Get Trump!” has once again backfired and it’s the Democrat Elites that are ending up with crap all over them.
Acosta described the remark as “disgusting” and argued that if a boss spoke to a female employee that way in any other workplace, they would be fired. The reporter, of course, does not work for the president.
Funny how Acosta seems to have forgotten that little detail in his usual unhinged rant against the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump. Did he think that the Lame Stream Media works for President Trump?
“Other folks in the press in the room should speak up in that moment and say, ‘Mr. President, that is not appropriate,’” Acosta said. “And, you know, double down on the questions that were asked. ‘Why didn’t you answer that question? Why are you resorting to personal attacks? Why can’t you take the heat? What’s going on here?’”
Trying to call out President Trump would have just allowed him to really open fire on the White House Press Corpse. Acosta, like all of the Libtarded Journalists, think that a president has to bow down to them.
“I think the only solution to all of this is collective action,” he added.
Acosta suggested that major newspapers and networks send a formal letter to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, warning that if Trump doesn’t stop mocking journalists, they would boycott Oval Office press events and travel on Air Force One, leaving coverage to outlets like Fox News until he “cleans up [his] act.”
Oh that’s funny! Does this idiot really think that if the Democrat Propaganda Corps refuses to cover the Trump Administration that they are going to even care? Thanks to Baron Trump and Karoline Leavitt, the White House is bringing in more of the so called “Alt-Right” media. Basically bloggers, small news sites and YouTubers who are actually reporting news and not manufacturing it. If the White House Press Corpse decides to go “On Strike” until President Trump stops saying mean things about them, they will have a very long wait.
“You can have Fox and all these other sycophantic outlets covering you, but we’re just not going to do it. We’re going to take a break for a while until you clean up your act,” Acosta suggested outlets tell the White House.
And the response by the Trump Administration when this threat is made? It will be two words. “Well, Bye.”
Acosta has a long history of openly hating and clashing with President Trump.
Acosta is no longer suffering from Stage IV Trump Derangement Syndrome. He’s now terminal. The symptoms of the terminal phase of TDS includes calling on the Media to not cover the Trump administration.
One of the most notorious incidents occurred in November 2018, during a post-midterm election press conference. Acosta pressed Trump on his characterization of a migrant caravan from Latin America as an “invasion,” leading to a heated exchange.
Jim Acosta is one of the Liberal Elite “Journalists.” He thinks that he’s special and that people should be awed by his writing brilliance. People like him can’t handle it when someone they think is “Lower” then he is tells him to put a sock in it, which is just what President Trump did.
Trump repeatedly told Acosta to sit down and relinquish the microphone, calling him a “rude, terrible person” and accusing him of treating Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders poorly. The White House later suspended Acosta’s press credentials, citing his alleged physical contact with an intern trying to take the mic.
Frankly, the intern should have pressed charges. You do not touch someone without their permission except in an emergency situation.
Following Acosta’s January announcement that he was leaving CNN, Trump took to Truth Social to mock him, calling him a “major loser who will fail no matter where he ends up.”
If I recall correctly, Acosta left before they fired him. I believe that was after Jeff Zucker was forced out. The new president came in and started clearing out a lot of the deadheads deadwood that were driving CNN’s ratings into the toilet.
Acosta has been bouncing around ever since, trying to show everyone just how brilliant and important he is. This latest idiocy is just that. Another attempt to show the Progressive Liberal Elite that he still has it. Now to apply the hammer of reality to this Male Karen.
There is no way that the MSM is going to not cover President Trump. He is the president of the United States and the President, of whatever party, can and will do things that will affect everyone. If the MSM didn’t cover President Trump, people would start looking for other sources of information to find out what is going on. Jim Acosta is going to be badly disappointed, again. Now if he would just do everyone a favor and just fade away into well deserved obscurity.
