Good day all, one of the most disgraceful actions, in a mountain of disgraceful actions by the Biden Maladministration, was the FBI raid on Mar-a-lago. The whole thing was predicated on the idea that President Trump had classified files. (He didn’t)
Everyone including myself have reported or commented on that raid extensively. However, since President Trump returned to office, real information has been coming out on just how corrupt the Biden/Garland DoJ was. Now a memo has been released by Senator Grassley’s office that FBI agents, (Honest ones apparently), that says that there was no probable cause to conduct the raid. Here are the details from Just The News:
The FBI in summer 2022 raised repeated objections to raiding Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida, warning agents did not believe the Biden Justice Department had enough evidence to establish “probable cause” that the then-former president had broken the law in handling classified documents, according to bombshell memos turned over Tuesday to Congress.
“WFO [FBI’s Washington Field Office] has conducted approximately [Redacted] interviews related to this matter. Very little has been developed related to who might be culpable for mishandling the documents,” a June 1, 2022 FBI memo declared. “From the interviews, WFO has gathered information suggesting that there may be additional boxes (presumably of the same type as were sent back to NARA [National Archives] in January) at Mar-a-Lago.”
First, a few little details to refresh the memory. First, as president, President Trump had absolute authority to declassify anything until 12PM EST January 20th, 2021. This includes the documents in question, if they actually existed. Second, all the documents were locked in a secure area with armed guards on the grounds. Third, the boxes weren’t packed up by the Trump Administration, but by the Biden maladministration. Fourth, The Trump people were working with the Archivist on what was going back to Washington, but she apparently didn’t like President Trump and helped initiate the raid. (She was fired when President Trump returned to office)
“WFO has been drafting a Search Warrant affidavit related to these potential boxes, but has some concerns that the information is single source, has not been corroborated, and may be dated. DOJ CES [Counterintelligence and Export Control Section] opines, however, that the SWs [search warrants] meet the probable cause standard,” that memo read.
In their eyes, since this was a plan to “Get Trump!” then all the probable cause that was needed was that it was about President Donald Trump. However, there continued to be some pushback.
Over a month later, FBI agents raised more concerns, including about the legality of searching Trump’s personal residence at the Mar-a-Lago residence, the memos show.
“DOJ has inquired as to an Ops Plan for a SW of MAL [Mar-a-Lago]. I let them know we are not in agreement for PC [probable cause] on the SW [search warrant] and that we already had an Ops Plan in place that will [sic] can be quickly updated between FBI/MM [Miami Field Office] and FBI/WF [Washington Field Office],” a redacted FBI agent in the nation’s capital wrote in a July 12, 2022 email. “However, WF-[Redacted] does not believe we have PC for the 45 Office or the bedroom due to recency and issues of boxes versus classified information. Therefore, as we are in disagreement on the SW and its scope, we are not yet finalizing a SW as we are missing relevant logistics and details.”
This indicates that the actual field agents, as opposed to the trash running the DoJ and FBI knew there were a lot of questions regarding the probable cause for the search warrant. However, this was never about recovering classified information. We have since learned that the raid team was authorized to use lethal force and that the Secret Service detail on site was NOT notified of the warrant or the raid.
President Trump and his family were not on site that day so the Secret Service Detail had been reduced. If President Trump had been there, his full team would have been and a bunch of cars racing up with armed people inside was asking for real trouble, Thankfully, since President Trump wasn’t there, the reduce Secret Service detail was able to avoid potential trouble, although there is a picture of one of the detail with a rifle and a very sour look on his face.
The FBI raided Trump’s Florida resort home of Mar-a-Lago in August 2022 with the authorization of then-Attorney General Merrick Garland. The Biden attorney general picked Smith in November 2022 to lead the twin criminal investigations into Trump related to classified documents and the Capitol riot.
And that entire plan to get Trump has detonated spectacularly in the faces of the Democrats. President Trump, who is being kept in the loop basically exploded when this became public. Here are some of those details from Newsmax:
President Donald Trump late Tuesday night railed against the 2022 raid on his Mar-a-Lago estate, calling the FBI’s action an “unreasonable search and seizure” and agreeing with a follower’s social media post calling for the arrests of former FBI Director Christopher Wray and former Attorney General Merrick Garland.
“Unreasonable Search and Seizure!!! That was the FBI’s CRIMINAL RAID on Mar-a-Lago. This can never be allowed to happen again!!!,” Trump posted on Truth Social.
And when a follower under the name of @Jay_Anthony45 said that “Someone should be arrested. Wray & Garland,” Trump responded, “and many others!!!”
President Trump has not been interfering with the running of the DoJ or the FBI. There have been calls to replace Pam Bondi and reports that Dan Bongino is looking to leave. However, while President Trump has railed publicly about this and many things, he has not actually issued an order to have all those involved arrested.
FBI Director Kash Patel on Tuesday confirmed reports that the raid took place despite internal concerns that probable cause for the search warrant had not been established.
“It’s true – we just turned over documents to Capitol Hill to be made public showing the FBI told DOJ they did not have probable cause for raiding President Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago but DOJ ‘didn’t give a damn’ and did it anyway,” Patel wrote on X.
It’s becoming more and more obvious that Merrick Garland willfully violated the constitutional rights of not only President Trump, but a number of others. What this is showing is that the Biden Maladministration was moving towards authoritarian rule. While Dementia Joe may have been somewhat engaged in this, (he has always been a thug), I suspect that it was his handlers who pushed most of this along.
I’ve seen a report that the Bondi DoJ is starting to look into the various attempts to prosecute President Trump and determine if there was actual collusion between the districts, the DoJ and the Biden Maladministration. (There might even be a few links to Obama) If this was an actual conspiracy to “Get Trump!”, then people need to go to jail, starting with Merrick Garland. Now it remains to be seen how far this goes and whether or not anything will come of it.
