Good day all. Now that the massive levels of welfare fraud in Minnesota has exploded in the face of Tampon Tim Walz, other states are starting to do what they should have been doing all along. Monitoring the welfare payments.
Another state that is now starting to come under scrutiny is Kalifornistan. It’s no secret that the People’s Democratic Republic of Kalifornistan is basically circling the drain economically. One of the reasons is the massive amounts of welfare spending. Now people are beginning to look under the hood to see how much has actually been stolen. Here are the details from Lifezette:
Carl DeMaio accused California Governor Gavin Newsom of overseeing what he described as widespread and costly welfare fraud, arguing that the scale of the alleged misconduct far exceeds similar issues raised in other states and that national media outlets have largely failed to scrutinize the situation.
I didn’t know who Carl DeMaio was when I started reviewing this story. Unfortunately, the Lifezette story doesn’t properly report on who he is. Carl DeMaio is a Member of the California State Assembly from the 75th district and is one of the very few Republicans in the State Legislature.
In a statement criticizing both state leadership and media coverage, DeMaio contrasted Newsom’s record with allegations previously directed at Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. DeMaio said the attention given to Minnesota has not been matched by scrutiny of California, despite what he described as significantly larger financial losses tied to welfare and unemployment programs.
I’m not surprised. Kalifornistan has managed to hide their graft and corruption a bit better then Minnesota. However, I suspect that the days of being able to do so are coming to an end. Right now, the DoJ is looking at the massive amounts of fraud and trying to determine who was stealing and who was enabling the crimes. It’s so massive that I suspect they don’t have the resources to run everything down.
Since it’s beginning to look like most of the fraud has been occurring under Democrats, and they have been fighting any form of disclosure or responsibility, I can see how it’s been on the back burner. However, Newsom’s stupidity and arrogance are starting to catch up to him, just as it has with Walz.
“If you thought that Minnesota Governor Tim Walz had a real bad problem with welfare fraud in his state, Gavin Newsom saying, Hold my beer buddy, Newsom’s welfare fraud is exponentially worse than Tim Walz,” DeMaio said.
Considering all the news of late, especially with Kalifornistan doubling down on funding illegal aliens, I suspect that the levels of fraud in Kalifornistan, once the auditors and investigators start looking, is probably going to be orders of magnitude worse. I also won’t be surprised if a fair percentage of the money has ended up in State Democrats pockets.
Recently, Kalifornistan dropped their suit to try and get the Trump Administration to continue funding the High Speed Train to Nowhere. The rumors on why they dropped the suit, besides having no chance of winning, was that it would allow the DoJ to dig into all the funding and where the money went.
According to DeMaio, Newsom’s administration allowed tens of billions of dollars in fraudulent payments to be issued, with financial consequences now falling on employers across the state.
I’m assuming that he means that Newsom and the Democrats are planning on yet another armed robbery of businesses and those with a lot of money. It’s to bad that all the businesses are closing and/or moving out of state. As for the rich people? They’re already moving out and taking their money with them.
“But the liberal media nationally, they’re not paying attention. They’re not holding him accountable. There’s almost no discussion of it,” DeMaio said.
Of course not. The Legacy Media long ago gave up any semblance of honest, unbiased reporting. They are nothing more than the Democrat Party’s propaganda corps. They are going to try and push Newsom into the White House in 2028 come Hell or high water. What they don’t want to see is the Federal Government coming in and “DOGE’ing the state’s financial books.
With what is starting to happen in Minnesota and the beginning of the Democrat Elite’s panic, the Legacy Media is moving into full cover-up mode. They are launching attacks against anyone who dares report on the fraud that’s being found. They are worried that Walz could go to jail, and if he goes down, other Democrat governors, including Gavin Newsom, might be in serious legal jeopardy himself.
He’s already being seen as a failed governor. If Kalifornistan is, as it should be, investigated, Newsom and other major political figures out there might find themselves in orange and adjusting to their digs in a Federally owned House of Many Doors.
