Good day all The United States was a founding member of the United Nations back in the 1940’s. The world was in the last stages of the Second World War and really weren’t interested in a third one. It was seen as a place countries could talk to each other, and unlike the old League of Nations, had some power to force issues.
That idea didn’t last much past 1950 after the Soviet Union detonated their first atomic bomb. For 5 years, the United States and the Soviet Union jockeyed back and forth. When the USSR finally collapsed in the 90’s, there really wasn’t a lot left for the UN to do. So they did what they do best. Wasting money and calling on the United States to bail them out, all the while berating the United States for existing.
Scroll forward to 2025. President Trump, who, like most Americans, doesn’t really care for the United Nations, is back in office. (Which really annoyed the elitist clowns in the UN) He’s busy Making America Great Again, trying to stop wars and doing what the UN has always failed to do. Prevent nuclear proliferation.
Now President Trump has looked at what the United Nations is doing and has decided to pull out of a lot of the committees, departments and other assorted scams that the American taxpayers were on the hook for. He’s also told the UN that we won’t be paying for any of that nonsense. Now the UN is crying poverty and claims it will go bankrupt unless America gives them piles of cash. Here some details and comments from the New York Slimes:
The United Nations said on Friday that it was facing imminent financial collapse and would run out of money by July if countries, namely the United States, did not pay their annual dues that amount to billions of dollars.
Senior U.N. officials said that if the cash ran out, the agency would be forced to shut down its landmark headquarters in New York by August. The U.N. Security Council, a 15-member body responsible for maintaining international peace and stability, convenes its meetings at U.N. headquarters.
And this is a problem, why? That boil on the anus of America deserves to be lanced and the sooner, the better.
It would also have to cancel the annual General Assembly gathering of world leaders held in September and shut the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, which responds to global emergencies like conflicts and natural disasters, it said.
Still not seeing a problem here
The U.N. secretary general, António Guterres, sent a letter to the ambassadors of all 196 member states on Thursday warning them of “imminent financial collapse,” saying the organization’s financial straits this time were different from those in any previous periods, according to a copy of the letter seen by The New York Times.
“The crisis is deepening, threatening program delivery and risking financial collapse,” Mr. Guterres wrote. “And the situation will further deteriorate in the near future. I cannot overstate the urgency of the situation we now face.”
I hate to be the one to break it to you Guterres, but no one in the United States, with the exception of the Transnational globalist elites, cares one wit if the United Nations collapses. We’ve seen just what you have become and as far as we care, hold your going out of business sale and close the doors.
The United States is responsible for about 95 percent of the money owed to the United Nations, about $2.2 billion, according to a senior U.N. official who briefed reporters on the agency’s budget crisis. That amount is a combination of the U.S. annual dues for 2025, which has not been paid, and for 2026, the U.N. official said.
We have our own budget issues and paying for some Third World pedophile’s junkets to Harrods in London is now off the table. In fact, we want the UN off the table as well.
The United Nations’ financial woes are largely rooted in two problems: a liquidity crisis driven by member states who either are not paying their dues or are paying late, and a financial rule, dating to 1945, that says if the organization fails to fully spend the budget, even if it’s because of lack of payment from member states, it must return the money to the states.
So let me try and understand this. If the UN doesn’t spend all the money it has budgeted for, then they have to pay all that money back even to those who never sent in any money in the first place? Well, I think that explains a lot of things. We’ve all seen reports of UN agencies spending huge amounts of money on seminars, junkets and meetings in places like France, Switzerland and other notable vacation spots. Then there are all the high priced “Consultants” who are paid 7 figures for a 10 page report on butterflies.
Mr. Guterres said in his letter that the rule essentially puts the United Nations on a trajectory for doom, and he urged member states to pay their dues in full and to overhaul the rule.
“It leaves the organization exposed to structural financial risk and forces a stark choice: Member States must either agree to overhaul our financial rules — or accept the very real prospect of the financial collapse of our organization,” Mr. Guterres wrote.
No, I don’t think so. I think it’s time to just go away. As for all those who are demanding that the United States save the United Nations? How about you go launch yourself through the air and commit a sexual act on a rotating pastry?
“Guterres has made similar warnings before, and the U.N. has limped through,” Richard Gowan, the U.N. director for the International Crisis Group, said. “In the short term, he is probably trying to bounce some big donors into paying up as soon as possible.”
Not happening. The majority of the people in the United States want the UN to go away and the sooner the better. The UN was always run by elitists, but most of them were also patriots to their own countries. Those days are long gone. What we have now are Eurotrash elitists who want to use the United Nations as a way to create a one world government, under them. Even the Third World dictators are seen by the Eurotrash elites as people they can use and then dispose of once they have served their purposes.
There have been multiple attempts to institute global taxes and to try and impose UN authority on sovereign nations, especially the United States. One thing that the UN Elites hate is the American Constitution, especially the 1st and 2nd Amendments. The 2nd Amendment come ins for real contempt by the UN bureaucrats and managers. They know that there are millions of Americans who want a nice UN Blue helmet for their trophy walls.
Now we will need to see if the UN actually goes out of business. Personally, I don’t think they will. Sadly, they are to entrenched and about the only way that building is going to be closed is if a few JDAM’s are delivered to do some major “Renovations.” However, if they suffer major structural pain? I consider that a good start.
