Good day all. With the massive amounts of Fraud found in Minnesota and other states, people are starting to ask where their hard earned money is actually going. One of these states I Massachusetts. Recently, they passed a ballot initiative authorizing the State Auditor to actually audit pretty much everything.
Apparently, the “Great and General Court” (The Massachusetts Legislature), hasn’t been to cooperative with the requirements of the auditor and the job the voters of Massachusetts have assigned to her. She is now taking the leadership of the state legislature to court. Here are the details from Fox News:
A Democratic state auditor is taking Massachusetts legislative leaders, including members of her own party, to court after uncovering nearly $12 million in alleged fraud in public assistance programs, seeking to enforce a voter-approved audit law.
“What are they hiding? If there’s nothing to hide, open up the doors, let the sun shine in. Let’s do this audit,” Massachusetts State Auditor Diana DiZoglio said on “Saturday in America.”
What are they hiding? After everything that Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency found in Washington, do you really need to ask?
DiZoglio, a Democrat and former member of both the Massachusetts House and Senate, is filing a complaint with the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court to enforce a 2024 ballot measure that authorized her office to audit the legislature. The measure passed with 72% support.
I will be honest and state that I knew nothing about that ballot measure, but then I don’t pay all that much attention to what is happening in the People’s Republic of Taxachusetts unless it affects New Hampshire or me personally. I’m actually a bit surprised that it passed at all, especially with that level of support. I guess people are figuring out that the Political Elite’s down there have been robbing them blind for decades.
The legal action follows a report from the Massachusetts State Auditor’s Office identifying nearly $12 million in alleged fraud in fiscal year 2025 alone across several public assistance programs.
I had to look up when the fiscal year begins for Massachusetts. Obviously, it doesn’t start on January 1st. It actually begins July 1st. The ballot measure only passed in November, and I suspect the auditor has only been working on this for a couple of months. Now Ms. DiZoglio wants to look at everything else mandated by the ballot measure and this is where the problems have started.
DiZoglio notified legislative leaders earlier this year of her intent to conduct a performance audit but said House and Senate leaders refused to provide the necessary documents. She added that the state attorney general declined to intervene.
“This is something that 72% of voters came out to support, crossing party lines,” she said.
“You had progressive Democrats joining together with conservative Republicans. And essentially saying that they want this audit to get done.”
I don’t’ know why Ms. DiZogolio is so shocked that the Ruling Elite won’t cooperate. As far as they’re concerned, the voters opinions really don’t matter. They exist to serve the Ruling, (Democrat), elite and nothing more.
According to the auditor, Massachusetts is the only state in the nation where the legislature, governor’s office and court system exempt themselves from the state’s public records law.
Well, of course they exempted themselves. They are, after all, nothing more then a pack of corrupt tyrannical thugs. The last thing they want is for information of just how much they’re stealing to get out. Speaking of which, I wonder if a ballot measure might be written to remove these exemptions? It would be amusing to see how they fight it, assuming they don’t block it from the ballot in the first place.
She argues the newly approved audit authority would bring long-sought transparency to taxpayer-funded records, including financial receipts and state contracts.
“This is about transparency and accountability,” DiZoglio added.
“This is not about whether you support the right or the left. This is coming together and getting access to documents that should be a matter of public record.”
DiZoglio emphasized that rooting out fraud is essential to protecting public assistance programs for those who genuinely need them. She shared her own background, saying she was born to a 17-year-old single mother who relied on programs such as WIC before becoming a nurse and getting back on her feet.
Whatever gave you the idea that making sure that only those truly in need were the ones getting the money? That isn’t the purposes of these programs. It’s to create and maintain a dependent class of people who can be counted on to vote for the Democrat Party. There is also the potential issue of money that may have gone to various Non-Governmental Organizations. Those are now being seen as nothing more then a means to launder money for certain individuals, both in and outside of the government.
“A lot of people rely on these programs,” she said. “But folks who are committing fraud need to be held accountable. We need to root out that waste, fraud and abuse so that these systems are working as they should and people truly in need get these services.”
Yeah, good luck with that. There is no way that the Political class, (Basically the Democrats), are going to let you look at a single page of those records. They know what you will find.
Fox News Digital reached out to the Massachusetts attorney general’s office for comment but did not immediately receive a response.
I wouldn’t hold your breath waiting for a response. They won’t talk to anyone from Fox News. They will, however, talk to anyone from the Democrat Propaganda Corps. They know that they will only “Report” what they are told to report.
However, according to GBH News, the attorney general claims DiZoglio lacks the authority to file the lawsuit.
FYI, GBH is the Public Television channel in Massachusetts. In other words, they can be counted on to protect the Deep State, The Democrat Party and bury anything that makes the Party look bad.
“This is another ploy to sidestep the required approval of my office and will bring her no closer to auditing the Legislature,” she said in a statement, per the outlet.
“This filing is not about enforcing the law. In order to enforce the law, she would answer my office’s straightforward questions, including how privileges given to the Legislature in our state constitution nearly 250 years ago impact her authority to audit the Legislature.”
The Massachusetts AG’s office’s primary job is not enforcing the law, it’s protecting the Ruling Class in Massachusetts. That and making sure the serfs are properly subservient.
DiZoglio said she hopes the state’s highest court will ultimately side with voters.
“The Constitution is there to protect the people, not the politicians,” she said.
Oh you silly girl. The Massachusetts State Constitution is advisory at best. Still, I really hope you win. The fact that these political worthies are actively blocking you and the will of the voters is telling me that they have something to hide. Perhaps you should reach out to the Trump Administration for assistance. Considering the actions of Govno Healey and Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, I think you might get a pleasant response from them.
