Good day all. Tuesday night, President Trump presented his State of the Union address to the nation. I didn’t see it live. This isn’t uncommon for me. I tend to clock out from the world and just read a book at night. However, I did watch the replay and commentary on the Renegade Nation YouTube channel.
From what I’ve been seeing, President Trump basically hit it out of the park. He listed his wins, of course, and also talked about the mess he was handed when he took office again last year. Here are some of the details from Fox News:
America has made a “turnaround for the ages,” President Donald Trump celebrated from the U.S. Congress Tuesday evening as he delivered his first State of the Union address for his second term.
“After just one year, I can say with dignity and pride that we have achieved a transformation like no one has ever seen before,” Trump declared from the dais Tuesday evening.
President Trump has been making great strides, even with the obstructionists in the House and Senate. Just like with his first term, President Trump is working to keep his promises to the voters. This has, of course, set off the Democrats and some of the RINO never Trumpers.
Trump delivered a lengthy address that broke records as the longest in recent history, as the president celebrated snuffing out diversity, equity and inclusion policies, securing the border, unleashing U.S. energy, and most notably, bolstering the economy and aiding everyday Americans.
Trump’s speech focused on how his administration turned a new page on a stagnant economy under the Biden administration that saw inflation skyrocket to 40-year highs, pointing to savings in the one “big, beautiful bill” for working families, such as no tax on tips or overtime.
The Democrats hated the Big Beautiful Bill and at the state level, at least in the states these Progressive tyrants control, they have been trying to get around it with increases in local taxes. Getting rid of DEI is another thing that the Progressive Libtarded Racist Democrats absolutely despise and are continuing to try and continue. Inflation has also come way down, no thanks to the Federal Reserve of course. They were a major reason for the increase in the first place.
“The Biden administration and its allies in Congress gave us the worst inflation in the history of our country,” he said. “But in 12 months, my administration has driven core inflation down to the lowest level in more than five years. And in the last three months of 2025, it was down to 1.7%. Gasoline, which reached a peak of over $6 a gallon in some states under my predecessor. It was, quite honestly, a disaster, is now below $2.30 a gallon in most states, and in some places $1.99 a gallon. And when I visited the great state of Iowa just a few weeks ago, I even saw $1.85 a gallon for gasoline.”
Gas prices have dropped significantly on most areas. Kalifornistan is not one of them. The communists out in Kalifornistan have been so mindbogglingly stupid that the oil companies have said “You know what? Screw you, we’re leaving.” and have been shutting down the local refineries. This is forcing the state to import fuel from out of state and even from out of the country. This, and the massive gas taxes Kalifornistan charges makes prices significantly higher then pretty much anywhere else in the country.
President Trump also took a shot at the Supreme Court for their recent, questionable, decision on tariffs.
Tariffs have played a key role in Trump’s economic plan for the nation, with the Supreme Court delivering a blow to his tariff policies Friday when it invalidated his use of an emergency law to impose sweeping tariffs on most U.S. trading partners. Four of the nine justices were present for the speech, including John Roberts, Elena Kagan and Amy Coney Barrett, who ruled against Trump in the decision.
Trump called the ruling “unfortunate” amid his speech, before looking toward the future and navigating separate legal avenues to usher in the tariffs.
The opinion written by Clarence Thomas was not kind to the majority. I don’t have it handy, (Especially since I don’t read legalese very well), but from real lawyers, it was brutal in a polite way. The Democrats, those that bothered to show up, were, with one or two exceptions, uniformly rude and disrespectful. In other words, they were being themselves.
The speech included a few outbursts from Democrats, most notably when Texas Democratic Rep. Al Green was once again removed from the chamber, as he was during Trump’s 2025 primetime speech. Green was spotted holding a sign reading, “Black people aren’t apes!”
Green is an absolute bigot and unfit to hold office. With a little luck and some redistricting, he may no longer be in office next year.
Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., also shouted at Trump, calling him a “liar” and a “murderer” after he spoke about alleged Somali-linked fraud in Minnesota.
I think Omar is running scared. The investigation into her sudden increase in wealth is picking up steam. If they find what I hope they do, Omar is going to prison and then could face denaturalization and deportation back to Somalia.
President Trump also awarded two Medals of Honor, one to a Korean War veteran who engaged communist jets, shooting down a number of them, and another to an Army helicopter pilot who, while seriously wounded by ground fire, still managed to get his aircraft to the landing zone.
As for the Democrats? They were utter trash and absolutely blind to what was happening. President Trump trolled them unmercifully and the Democrats were happy to play their part as unthinking anti-American losers. Only Senator Fetterman stood out, standing in respect to the office and other moments in the speech that he thought were appropriate.
Trump wrapped up the speech looking forward to the future, while giving a nod to the nation’s founding 250 years ago.
“The revolution that began in 1776 has not ended,” Trump said. “It still continues because the flame of liberty and independence still burns in the heart of every American patriot, and our future will be bigger, better, brighter, bolder, and more glorious than ever before. Thank you. God bless you and God bless America.”
The polls on the State of the Union address were definitely in President Trump’s favor. The Legacy Media was saying that President Trump was coming into the speech a wounded president. Instead, he took Capitol Hill by storm and ran rings around the opposition. The Democrats were politically kicked, repeatedly, in the groin.
When President Trump asked everyone who thinks that Americans should be the priority and not illegal aliens, not one Democrat stood up. That is going to be used against them, along with everything else in the midterm election.
