Good day all. The policy known as DEI, or Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, has been proven to be nothing more then another way for the Progressive Liberal Democrats t push racist policies. It’s been used to replace Affirmative Action, which was a more blatant form of racism.
One of the things that President Trump and the Republicans have been trying to do is to crush DEI wherever it rears it’s racist head. The Democrats, on the other hand, continue to double down on stupid and demonstrate that they have not moved at all from their slave owning plantation mindset. Now we have the Democrat Minority Leader, Hakeem Jeffries claiming that DEI was written into the Constitution. Here are the details of this stupidity from the Western Journal:
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries told left-wing activists Thursday that the Trump administration was carrying out an “all-out assault on civil rights” by opposing diversity, equity and inclusion.
President Donald Trump issued an executive order within hours of taking office on Jan. 20, 2025, mandating an end to DEI efforts in the federal government.
Which is as it should be. People should be judged by their abilities, not their skin color or eye shape. Of course, this is something the Democrats are opposed to since they have used Affirmative Action and now DEI to put people into place who would be loyal to them. Why you may ask? Because they are incompetent and can’t do the job they were hired to do.
Jeffries told attendees of the National Action Network annual convention that DEI was mandated by the 14th Amendment’s Equal Protection Clause.
Oh this should be good.
“No matter what these extremists are trying to do with their all-out assault on civil rights, on voting rights, certainly on diversity, equity and inclusion — and we won’t let these extremists get away with lying to the American people,” the New York Democrat maintained.
“They want to suggest that diversity, equity, and inclusion are foreign values. They’re not foreign values, they’re American values.”
Jeffries is, of course, the typical modern Democrat office holder. Dumb, racist, has never actually read the Constitution and thinks that Americans want to be a communist country like the old Soviet Union. In other words, a loser. Then he continues with his complete misunderstanding of pretty much everything by quoting our money.
“Let’s just check the record. The motto of this great country, ‘E pluribus unum,’ that’s the motto of this great country, ‘Out of many, one.’ That’s diversity,” Jeffries continued.
No you idiot, it isn’t. It actually means the dead opposite of what you say it means. The idea was that we take all of the diverse peoples and meld them into one culture, American. I think he’s confusing E pluribus unum with the Vulcan motto on Star Trek, Infinite Diversity through Infinite Combinations. That was science fiction, heavy on the fiction part.
“One of the most important constitutional amendments in this country, a Reconstruction amendment, the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution, contains the Equal Protection Clause. And the Equal Protection Clause in the 14th Amendment promises equal protection under the law. That’s equity.”
Again, you got it wrong, but that isn’t surprising since you are just reading a cue card with your talking points drown up by a diversity hire in your office.
“And all across this country, from sea to shining sea, in the land of the free and the home of the brave, when people say the Pledge of Allegiance, they pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. That’s inclusion,” Jeffries said.
That’s funny since you and the other Democrats have basically made it illegal to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. It also doesn’t mean what you are saying it means you meathead. You also have the United States Supreme Court disagreeing with you as well.
Citing the 14th Amendment, the Supreme Court struck down admission policies at the University of North Carolina and Harvard that took race into account, with a 6-3 ruling in the case of North Carolina and a 6-2 ruling in the case of Harvard in June 2023.
So the Supreme Court disagrees with Hakeem Jeffries. I’m not surprised, Granted the two cases had two of the Liberal justices saying racism is just fine in one instances and all three showing that they like wearing white sheets with pointed hats. What worries me is that if/when the Democrats regain power, they are going to go full on racist again.
About the only way to block that is crushing them at the polls and getting the Democrats to start looking internally at what their problem is. That, of course, will never happen. They think that they are on the right side of history and that whenever anything goes against them, it’s the fault of White Men, not that the Democrat Party is run by idiots.
