Good day all. Friday, June 12th, SpaceX went public with a highly successful IPO. SpaceX opened on the NASDAQ under the symbol SPCX at $150 per share. The IPO was for $135 per share. The prices bounced around all day, all above the IPO price and finally closed at $160.95 per share.
I personally didn’t buy any shares in the company, and probably won’t, at least until they start announcing dividend payments. However one of the nice things about this IPO was how well the employees did. I understand that there are a lot of new millionaires for the Communist Left to hate. Then there is Elon Musk. He is now, on paper, the worlds first trillionaire. Here are the details from Fox Business News:
Elon Musk’s SpaceX began trading at $150 a share on Friday, above its listing price of $135 a share, making him the world’s first-ever trillionaire following the IPO.
The rocket and satellite company raised a record $75 billion, valuing the company at about $1.8 trillion, pushing the value of Musk’s stake in SpaceX to an estimated $690 billion. The company is trading on the Nasdaq under the ticker “SPCX” after pricing its IPO on Thursday.
Combined with his holdings in electric vehicle maker Tesla, as well as other investments and assets, Musk’s net worth is now estimated at about $1.1 trillion.
This has set off the usual suspects in the Democrat Party. They see that number, $1 TRILLION DOLLARS!!, and they want to take it for themselves. Here are those details from the Post Millennial:

Senator Elizabeth Warren posted to X, “Elon Musk just became the world’s first trillionaire. The typical American household would have to work more than 11 MILLION years to make Elon Musk’s level of wealth. We need a wealth tax.”
Warren, in case you hadn’t noticed, is a communist. She will deny it, but she hates the fact that anyone has more money than she does, so she wants to take it all. She is also a full blown Karen and thinks she should be the one running everything. Her “Wealth Tax” is always set higher then what she is worth too, and of course, it’s unconstitutional. The 16th Amendment allows for the theft taxation of INCOME, not wealth.
Democrat Socialist Bernie Sanders said in response to Musk’s status as the first trillionaire, “Today, Elon Musk, a trillionaire, pays the same amount into Social Security as someone making $184,500. If we end that absurdity and lift the cap on taxable income, we can make Social Security solvent for 75 years and expand benefits by $2,400. My Social Security bill does that.” Musk famously paid $11 billion in taxes in 2021, more money than Sanders has ever earned or will pay in taxes.
Bernie Sanders claims he is a Socialist. He is a Communist and always admired the Soviet Union. He literally wants to recreate it in the United States. He’s also a flat out hypocrite. He has never done an honest days work in his life. When he joined a commune, they threw him out after a few days because the lazy bastard wouldn’t pull his wait. He spent his time annoying people who were working with all his communist politics. He also owns three homes, which is two more than most people have.
Graham Platner, the Democrat running in the Maine Senate race who has been hit by scandal after scandal, said in response, “Elon Musk just became the world’s first trillionaire. Let’s make sure he’s also the last.”
Platner is a National Socialist. Basically, he is a Nazi, and like all Nazis, he is a thug. This is why the Democrats are supporting him. His comment sounds like a flat out threat, which, from what I’ve seen, is about this losers speed.
I checked to see if our favorite Marxist bartender had made any comments and surprisingly. Alexandria Occasional-Cortex hasn’t said anything. I used Grok to determine if any other communists Democrats had opened their mouths and inserted their feet and Grok came through.
She directly addressed it in videos and posts, saying things like “Nobody should be a trillionaire. Tax the damn rich” and emphasizing that extreme wealth concentration comes from a tax code rigged for billionaires. She called it a symptom of systemic issues and pushed for wealth taxes to fund healthcare, housing, and childcare.
Jayapal is being very well ratioed with her video on TwitterX and Faceplant. (I’m not going to post links to them, you can find that Communist blowhard’s video yourself) In fact all of the Liberal Subtards tend to come into the Congress with not much money in their bank accounts, (AOC had a substantial student loan debt from Boston College when she first won), and within two terms are worth millions. Funny how that works, isn’t it?
I expect the stock price for SpaceX to level off and probably drop quite a bit. That’s generally how things work for really big IPO’s. In the mean time, I have little doubt that Elon Musk and the thousands of his employees who had stock options that just earned them millions are sitting back and enjoying the Moonbats, Subtards, Democrats, Liberals and Communists are screaming about how unfair it is that Elon Musk is successful and they’re all epic failures.
