Good day all. As I write this post, The United States is bombing Iran again. President Trump has announced that the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States and Iran was now as dead as Ali Hosseini Khamenei. This was due to the IRGC firing on ships and everyone else in the Arabian Gulf.
Recently, President Trump was visiting Turkey. He went there on the new Air Force One plane that was gifted to the United States. However, when he left, it was on one of the older planes. The reasons for this came out later. Israel had reported a credible threat by Iran to shoot down Air Force One. Here are the details from Fox News:
Israel recently shared intelligence with the United States indicating Iran had developed a fresh plan to assassinate President Donald Trump, according to a Wall Street Journal report Thursday citing people familiar with the matter.
Iran has been actively planning to assassinate President Trump since his first term. There was a credible threat while he was out of office, but the Biden Maladministration doesn’t appear to have done to much about it. (They would have been happy to see President Trump dead) This seems to be new plans being put together.
The reported intelligence would mark an escalation in the longstanding threats against Trump, who Iran has repeatedly vowed to retaliate against over the 2020 U.S. strike that killed Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Gen. Qassem Soleimani.
When President Trump heard about this, he announced that he had left an order on what to do if Iran did manage to assassinate him. In a response on Truth Social:
1000 Missiles are Locked and Loaded and aimed at the Islamic Republic of Iran, with thousands of more to immediately follow, should the Iranian Government act on its threat, pronounced in many corners of the Globe, to assassinate, or attempt to assassinate, the sitting President of the United States of America, in this case, ME! Orders have already been given, and the U.S. Military is ready, willing, and able, for a one year period of time, subject to extension, to completely decimate and destroy all areas of Iran – PRAISE BE TO ALLAH! President DONALD J. TRUMP
I suspect the praise be to Allah was a bit of a troll. However, if Iran were to somehow carry out their threat and murdered President Trump, I don’t think President Vance would order 1000+ missiles launched on Ira, I suspect it will be far fewer, say 20 or so. This missiles would be “Special” missiles and they would be launched from a very specific type of submarine. That missile type? It would be a Trident D5 and it would be delivering a large number of cans of sunshine in the multi-kiloton range.
The Wall Street Journal reported the intelligence surfaced as Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have diverged in recent weeks over how to proceed after last month’s conflict with Iran. Netanyahu has advocated for continuing military pressure on Tehran, while Trump has sought to preserve a fragile ceasefire after U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear sites.
Trump and Netanyahu spoke Thursday and agreed to continue coordination between the two countries, according to a statement from Netanyahu’s office, which said Trump also updated the Israeli leader on recent U.S. activity in the Gulf.
Well it looks like that the Administration has had enough of Iran’s lies. There are satellite pictures of Iran trying to rebuild their nuclear facilities. I suspect that these are on the target lists once they have more information on them. I’ve also heard that the air and missile strikes are going after infrastructure. I’ve seen a report that several bridges that have been used to bring in fresh weapons supplies from China and Russia have been dropped.
I know there is more going on than we know about. I’m hoping that Special Forces teams have infiltrated Iran and are arming anti-regime Iranians and pointing them at the IRGC and the Basij. I don’t want troops on the ground, but the only way to end Iran as a threat is to end the IRGC, and that mean obliterating them and their supporters. The alternative is to reduce Iran to the stone age. No power, no water and no food. We may end up having to do that.
