Good day all. Boston, Massachusetts mayor, Michelle “Woo Hoo” Wu is a pro-criminal Democrat who has been actively trying to block ICE when they come in to round up illegal aliens. To be perfectly blunt, she is an unhinged radical socialist who despises the United States.
Wu recently sent out a letter that basically threatened private property owners if they aided Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in their duties to clear illegal aliens from the city of Boston. The response was not what she probably intended. Here are the details from Fox News:
The Department of Homeland Security is calling out Boston Democratic Mayor Michelle Wu’s “unhinged” effort to dissuade business owners from leasing to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the city, equating it to “hunting down” private property owners.
After Boston banned ICE vehicles from using city-owned parking lots to stage operations, ICE issued a notice seeking to rent hundreds of parking spaces in the city for five years. In response, Wu, an outspoken opponent of President Donald Trump’s immigration enforcement agenda, issued an open letter to parking garage and lot owners throughout Boston in which she revealed the city had submitted a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request “for any local responses to ICE.”
There is absolutely no reason for Woo Hoo Wu to need that information unless she intends to go after anyone who make a deal with ICE. Considering how much of a hardcore leftist she is, I can see her doing something really stupid.
DHS fired back in an X post, writing that “these actions by sanctuary Mayor Michelle Wu are unhinged.”
“She knows she has NO authority to block us from using private property. So, she’s hunting down private property owners and threatening them for working with ICE — because she’d rather intimidate law-abiding Bostonians than get criminal illegal aliens OFF the street,” wrote DHS.
Woo Hoo Wu is a typical Progressive Democrat. She despises everything about this country and the average citizen. Like most of the Democrat Party, she understand that more and more people are moving away from the insane nuttiness of the Democrats. This is why she is actively doing everything she can to protect illegal aliens. The Democrats want these people here so they can be counted in the Census and, eventually, be used to replace the current Democrat minority constituencies such as Blacks and Hispanics.
While she is blocking ICE, or trying to, from using any city facilities, ICE, rather than fight her, just said “Ok, no problem. We’ll rent space from private owners.” That is throwing a very large wrench into her plans to obstruct the Federal government.
ICE issued a “sources sought” notice last month for “surge parking” in 14 cities across the country. The notice revealed ICE was seeking 249 contiguous parking spaces in Boston.
This is what set off Mayor Woo Hoo Wu. She came up with the brilliant idea to ask private businesses to not rent space to ICE.
In response, Wu issued an official appeal from the city of Boston for garage and lot owners to “reject ICE staging facilities.” She wrote that “were ICE to procure such resources, it would constitute an unprovoked and unwarranted escalation, creating potentially significant risks to public safety and halting economic activity across our entire region.”
And there it is. “We need illegal aliens because they provide cheap labor! If we hire Americans or legal resident aliens, we will have to pay what the jobs are actually worth. That will eat into our profits. If companies profits are lower, then they can’t “Donate” to our off shore bank accounts campaigns.”
She boasted that she “joined together with six other cities across Greater Boston and signed Executive Orders prohibiting ICE from staging its operations on municipal property and parking lots,” adding, “Today, I ask you to join us: Reject any proposition by ICE to facilitate an attack on the people of Boston.”
I have a suspicion that something is going to break after the midterms. Regardless of who controls the congress, the Administrative Branch may start the next phase, which will involve indictments of mayors and governors who are protecting criminal aliens. The priority of ICE with regards to the roundups, has been illegals who had also committed other crimes rather than those who haven’t broken other laws. They do grab them when they com across them of course.
Woo Hoo Wu and the other sanctuary cities are, technically, in violation of various federal statutes regarding immigration. Add to that, the body count these criminals are generating, and how they are being released back into local neighborhoods even with detainer requests, I think we might see a few elected officials under indictment sooner rather than later.
DHS responded to Wu’s FOIA request by calling her a “pro-criminal illegal alien politician” in another X post. The agency said the request also indicates that Wu “admits she has no authority to block ICE from utilizing private property.”
“If private citizens want to allow federal law enforcement onto their own property, they should be allowed to do so—free of threats, intimidation and coercion from their radical left-wing mayor who shamelessly compared ICE agents to a neo-Nazi group,” wrote DHS.
That is pretty standard rhetoric from the Communists Democrats these days. If you don’t support what the Democrat agenda, you are a neo-Nazi/Fascist/Racist and a bad person.
In response, a spokesperson for the city of Boston told Fox News Digital that “Mayor Wu and state and local leaders across the political spectrum agree that violent ICE surges make our communities less safe.”
But letting illegal aliens rob, rape and murder is perfectly fine?
Wu’s FOIA request came after the Boston City Council adopted an “emergency resolution” earlier this month urging the city to “explore all avenues to oppose” proposed parking leases for ICE in downtown Boston.
The council said that by adopting the emergency resolution, it was calling on the city to “explore available options to prevent the proposed parking leases and expressed its opposition to an increased ICE presence in the city.”
There is no option, at least no lawful one, and it looks like they are moving to the borderline unlawful measures. What I think they’re planning to do, if they get the information on which private businesses are talking to the Department of Homeland Security, (This is where ICE is administratively), is to start piling on every regulatory action they can.
I don’t know what federal actions can take if Woo Hoo Wu does use city resources to go after private business. I do think that she and a few other mayors need to be made examples of. I’m not one to push lawfare, especially after what the Biden maladministration tried to do, however, something has to be done about these moonbats and their hatred of the United States.
