In memory of the 9/11 attack, George W. Bush continues sucking up to Islam

Good day all. 25 years ago, the United States suffered the worst attack since the Japanese decided that touching America’s boats at Pearl Harbor was a good idea. The difference between the Pearl Harbor attack and the Islamic Terrorist attack on September 11th, 2001 was simple. The Japanese went after targets that could shoot back.

In the aftermath of the attack, anger at Islam and Muslims in the United States rightfully went through the roof. During this, a few things happened that really irked a lot of people. First, Osama bin Laden’s family, who were in the United States, were escorted to the airport and allowed to leave the United States. These were not people like his wives or children, but cousins and others. These people were never questioned or even looked at, just sent out of the country.

The next thing, And I may not be correct in the order that these events occurred, President Bush decided that he needed to kowtow to Saudi Arabia. He did this by having a little speech where he referred to Islam as “The religion of peace.”

Anyone who has spent 5 minutes looking at Islam and what they have been doing for the last 25+ years, knows that peaceful is not what that religion is. You would think that G.W. Bush would learn, but no, that RINO Globalist loser decided to double down on stupid. Here are the details from Fox News:

As the 25th anniversary of 9/11 approaches, former President George W. Bush reflected on his decision to visit a mosque six days after the attacks, saying he wanted Muslim Americans to know they were not to blame for the terrorism.

“This decision, shortly thereafter, was to go to a mosque,” Bush said on Wednesday evening. “I did so because I was deeply concerned about stories of women in coverings being harassed at shopping centers, particularly in Michigan.”

That stunt did not go over well with most Americans. In hindsight, that was one of the dumber things he did during his presidency. The others? Invading Iraq was probably at the top of the list, and then deciding that nation building, both in Iraq and Afghanistan was a great idea. Add to that literally tying the hands of the troops so they couldn’t actually win? Frankly, he should be charged with Treason.

The mosque visit became a prominent part of Bush’s response to the attacks as he sought to distinguish Islam and Muslim Americans from the terrorists responsible for 9/11. Six days after the attacks, Bush visited the Islamic Center of Washington, where he declared, “Islam is peace.”

“It became clear to me that if this was an ideological struggle, which is what I viewed it as, and we forego one of the most important parts of our ideology, which is the freedom to worship the way you want to worship,” said Bush.

“I want you to talk about a couple of those events. You talked about going to the Islamic Center and trying to make sure that our Muslim American citizens knew that we didn’t blame them for what had happened,” said Rice.

Yeah and how has that worked out for the United States you sanctimonious idiot? You know have Muslims looking to impose Sharia law on the United States.

“I also made it clear that Islam was a religion of peace, not a religion of war, and that these people subverted their religion,” Bush added.

Bush’s comments were very quickly shot full of holes. People started posting actual entries from the Koran and people who have studied the religion, (While not Muslims themselves), pointed out, in a politically correct manner, that Bush was full of shit.

Bush’s remarks come as the 25th anniversary of 9/11 approaches and as the attacks and their aftermath have returned to the political spotlight.

Do you know what people said after Bush made his remarks in support of Islam? The phrase, “Religion of Peace,” was given an addendum. It became “Religion of Peace My Ass!” While George W. Bush was kissing Islamic ass, most Americans wanted to play Cowboys and Muslims.

If it hadn’t been for the Islamic attack on 9/11, the odds are that, just like his daddy, George W. Bush would have been a one term president. By the time his second term had come to an end, the first use of “Something Derangement Syndrome” was being seen. In this case, it was Bush Derangement Syndrome or BDS.

When Bush left office, many people basically said goodbye and good riddance. The down side was that Bush’s Neocon incompetence gave us the second worst president in American history, Barack Obama. However, that’s for another day. Bush has been generally pretty quiet since leaving office, except when it involved President Trump, the Tea Party and later the Make America Great Again philosophy.

This is just another instance of him making a complete ass out of himself. He should have just faded away and been forgotten. Now he’s done nothing but remind people why they grew to hate him and his cronies, like Dick Cheney. He should just make like an egg and beat it. No one wants him around any longer, including myself.
