Canadian Prime Minister trying to put Canada into the EU

Good day all. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, fresh off his demands that Americans stop making memes about him and Canada, is going full steam ahead to hand over Canada to the European Union. He claims to be doing this to move away from the United States as a major trading partner.

There is, of course, a lot to unwind regarding this. First, Carney is a World Economic Forum stooge and frankly shouldn’t even be the Canadian Prime Minister. But, that’s an issue for the Canadians to sort out. The second problem is that Canada is part of North America, not Europe. The EU was set up to handle trade between the member European nations. However, this isn’t a concern for Carney and he is trying to accelerate things. Here are the details from Newsmax:

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney is accelerating efforts to deepen economic and strategic ties with Europe as relations with the United States deteriorate, The Wall Street Journal reports.

A major cause of the deterioration can be laid at the feet of Mark Carney. The Trump administration was working on a deal with Canada that would correct a number of issues, honestly, on both sides. Carney is the one who blew everything up and walked away, not President Trump.

Carney has directed Canada’s special envoy to Europe to explore arrangements short of European Union membership that could give Canada closer access to the bloc’s $21 trillion single market. Officials are considering deeper cooperation in energy, artificial intelligence, critical minerals, defense and other strategic industries, according to the Journal.

The proposals could include easier movement of Canadian goods, services and workers into Europe, visa-free living and work arrangements, joint data centers and satellite networks, expanded research ties and participation in the EU’s study-abroad program.

There is also the down side to all that. Basically, Carney would be surrendering Canadian sovereignty to the Brussels Bureaucrats. I don’t know if they would also have to give up their currency, the Canadian dollar, for the Euro. I wouldn’t put it past Carney to do just that.

Carney’s strategy represents a significant shift for Canada, whose economy has been closely integrated with the United States for decades. Canada sends roughly two-thirds of its exports to the U.S.

And I think it’s one that will backfire badly. You have Alberta and several other provinces actively looking at secession and handing the nation over the EU may actually tip the balance in favor of seceding.

European officials see Canada as a potential test of whether the EU can offer closer ties to a major democracy without full membership. But the Journal reports that significant obstacles remain, including regulatory differences, questions over Canadian sovereignty and Europe’s limited ability to replace the U.S. market.

One thing that the millions of European soccer fans discovered during the world cup is just how poor the EU actually is. (Apparently Louisiana’s GDP is better than a large chunk of Europe’s) The European Union was supposed to solve that. It hasn’t and may have made things worse for a lot of countries.

Then there is immigration. The Brussels bureaucrats along with their WEF minions have allowed Europe to be overrun with third world immigrants with no skills and who have become a major financial drain on the member countries. The EU has been trying to force several of the Eastern European countries, such as Poland, to let Muslims and other immigrants into their countries with no oversight. Poland’s answer was to issue a shoot to kill order of immigrants who try crossing into the country illegally.

Considering the issues we’re dealing with, thanks to Dementia Joe Biden, If Canada agreed to, or was coerced into allowing the same thing to occur up there? Without question, we would see a wall going up between the United States and Canada with a full lock down of the border. That border is currently monitored but not really locked the way the southern border is. The worst case scenario would be terrorists crossing into the United States from Canada and launching a major attack. That would lead to the United States actively threaten Canada with invasion if not just moving in and cleaning out the rot.

Carney has argued that the deterioration in U.S.-Canadian relations represents a lasting rupture rather than a temporary disruption. European and Canadian officials are now working to turn the proposed realignment into concrete agreements.

Well, if you leave and another Prime Minister, preferably from a political party that isn’t made up of Communists and morons, were to take over, I think a lot of problems would be resolved.

Canada and the EU are also talking about laying underwater cables, jointly constructing data centers, cloud storage and new satellite networks and infrastructure to ship Canadian energy to the EU, the newspaper said.

That sounds more like Carney is preparing to hand Canada over to the EU. They might be saying that it’s just agreements and that Canada won’t surrender to the European Union and take a knee to the Brussels Bureaucrats and that might be how they’re going to play this up. Personally, I think his intent is to make Canada a full member of the EU. Of course, that might just be a conspiracy theory on my part.

The ?project to ?closely tie-up Canada and ?the EU is not such an easy feat, though, as fierce opposition to a more modest trade deal showed.

It will be interesting to see what happens if/when Carney proposes this to the Canadian parliament. While the Canadian Liberal Party may be all for this, and ready to bow to their new masters in Brussels, the rest of Canada might just go “Hey, Hold the phone there, eh?” I have already mentioned the secession movement in Alberta. Pushing this through might just be the final push for the residents of that Province to decide that independence might be a pretty good idea after all. Stay tuned. This is going to be fun.
