Obama: I have the power to detain Americans… but I won’t

Gee, this is nice of Der Fuehrer The One His Most High Excellency President Obama to say so, don’t you agree? I sure do. I was worried there for a minute that I was going to be arrested for calling His Imperial Jug-earedness President Obama nasty names.

Now, what am I rattling on about you ask? Last weekend Obama signed the NDAA ((National Defense Authorization Act)) 2012. This was after threatening to veto it. Now, Obama saying one thing and doing another is par for the course with him, but apparently the issue here is a section that allows the arrest and detainment of U.S. Citizens and legal resident aliens WITHOUT TRIAL.

More from InfoWars.com:

Section 1031 of the NDAA bill, which itself defines the entirety of the United States as a “battlefield,” allows American citizens to be snatched from the streets, carted off to a foreign detention camp and held indefinitely without trial. The bill states that “any person who has committed a belligerent act” faces indefinite detention, but no trial or evidence has to be presented, the White House merely needs to make the accusation.

This section clearly violates the constitution in so many ways it isn’t funny. I seem to recall we had a little rebellion back in the 1770’s over just this thing happening. From what I’ve been able to find out, support for and against this obamanation crossed party lines. I suspect some of the house and senate members, (as usual), had no idea what they were voting on.

Now I have no problem with foreign nationals captured on the battlefield outside of the United States being detained while hostilities are ongoing. That’s what happens during a war. There are international agreements and conventions for just this purpose. ((Although Guerrilla forces may not be covered by the Hague & Geneva conventions)) American Citizens captured on the battlefield giving aid and comfort to our enemies, even in a foreign country, by U.S. Forces are entitled to their constitutional rights. ((Johnny Walker Lindh)) They can and should be tried for treason, and if convicted, can and should be executed. Again, there is a process and procedures IN PLACE for these circumstances.

No, what we have here is nothing less than the Obama Administration ending the Constitution of the United States and all our protections therein.

Think I’m kidding? Do you believe Obama wouldn’t do such a thing? Take a little gander at this video of Senator Carl Levin and decide for yourself.

Now I’m no fan of Levin’s by any stretch of the imagination. Personally I think he should be criminally charged with Treason, BUT ONLY UNDER THE CONSTITUTION! I don’t want him just snatched up on the whim of Obama or some other president.

Oh yes, I don’t recall the evil BOOOOOOOSSSSSSSHHHHH asking for these powers. If he had, the bills of impeachment would have been flying all over capitol hill and tightly so. Isn’t it interesting that when egregious suppression of our rights occurs, you generally find the Progressive Liberal Democrats are the ones pushing it?

If you think for one minute Obama and/or various federal law enforcement agencies won’t abuse this, well I have a nice section of swampland to sell you.

This section needs to be repealed ASAP. If your representative or Senator voted for this and is up for reelection, ((In the House, all Representatives are up for reelection)) then they need to have primary opponents and be challenged on their vote. I don’t care which party they’re in.

If this section is used, it almost guarantees that the Second Amendment Reset Button will be pushed. We must remember this and all the other abuses heaped on the American people by the Political class in Washington and other levels. Vote them the HELL OUT IN NOVEMBER!!

Thatisall
