Fiscal crises? What fiscal crises?

We all know that the Progressive Liberals in general and Obama in particular our totally out of touch with reality. This is one of the reasons this nation is in such bad shape. Well, Friday, King Putt decided to reward all his faithful servants.

Just what did that SCoaMF do this time? He gave every single member of the federal government a pay hike. Leading the pack with be that mental retard, Joe Biden. His paycheck will be going to 231,900.00 a year. Gee, did you notice that this is below Der Fubar’s definition of “The Rich?” The Weekly Standard has the details, such as they are.

President Barack Obama issued an executive order to end the pay freeze on federal employees, in effect giving some federal workers a raise. One federal worker now to receive a pay increase is Vice President Joe Biden.

Now, the average federal employee, other than our brave men and women in the military, generally make something like 10%-30% more than someone in the “Dreaded Private Sector” who does basically the same job. (And generally in a far more competent manner too) So how much of an increase will these overpaid hacks be getting?

“A new executive order has been issued providing for a new pay schedule beginning ‘on the first day of the first applicable pay period beginning after March 27, 2013,'” reports FedSmith.com. “The pay raise will generally be about 1/2 of 1%.”

Half a percent. Well, considering that hundreds of thousands of people in the Dreaded Private Sector will not be getting a pay raise and will be lucky if they still have a job, this seems fair. NOT! The timing on this is typical of King Putt too. We are about to see the largest tax hike in history, plus another Trillion dollars in Obamacare taxes in a few days.

According to a senior Republican congressional aide who has reviewed the executive order and consulted with the Congressional Budget Office, Obama’s pay raise will cost $11 billion. “The CBO told us that the President’s pay raise for federal workers will cost $11 billion over ten years,” says the aide.

In the olden days of the Republic, when we had a government of the people, by the people and for the people, federal employees earned a lot less then the people in the private sector. They did get some nice benefits and a decent retirement package. Now, they get far more then the average worker, a platinum plated benefits package and a retirement package most people only dream of.

Is it any wonder Obama and the Progressive Liberals want to concentrate on disarming the American people? They know what’s coming and don’t want the people to be able to do anything about it. Pity for them it isn’t going to work, no matter what that treasonous scumbag and his like minded lackeys in Congress may think.
