The Obamacare fiasco, day 10

Right along with the federal government shutdown, (Of sorts), the Obamacare exchanges opened for business and promptly closed again. The roll out has been a disaster of the highest order and as you might expect, the Democrats are blaming the Republicans, who had nothing to do with it.

The system is so bad that the Obama Regime can’t even say how many people have successfully enrolled. What has been coming out is that the talk of “Low cost health insurance” was an outright lie. The costs of Obamacare are massive unemployment, massive rate hikes and fury over what Obama and the Democrats have done.

One open letter to Obama has gone viral. A 26 year old woman with some health issues has found that under Obamacare, her costs have exploded. Below is the letter from Ashley Dionne:

My name is Ashley Dionne and I’m a 26-year-old recent graduate from Michigan.
The phony Obamacare signup poster boy made me want to send a message about how Obamacare is really affecting people.
I graduated from The University of Michigan in 2009. In my state, this used to mean something, but even with a bachelor’s I was told I was too educated and wouldn’t stay. I watched as kids with GEDs and high school diploma’s took the low-paying jobs for which I applied.
I went back to school and got a second degree and finally found work at a gym. I work nights and only get 32 hours a week for eight dollars an hour. I’m unable to find a second job at this time.
I have asthma, ulcers, and mild cerebral palsy. Obamacare takes my monthly rate from $75 a month for full coverage on my “Young Adult Plan,” to $319 a month. After $6,000 in deductibles, of course.
Liberals claimed this law would help the poor. I am the poor, the working poor, and I can’t afford to support myself, let alone older generations and people not willing to work at all.
This law has raped my future.
It will keep me and kids my age from having a future at all.
This is the real face of Obamacare and it isn’t pretty.

There are more and more letter like this starting to appear, but you won’t see them from any of the members of the Obama Steno Pool. However, this fiasco is so huge that even the Mostly Stupid Media is having trouble covering it up. People have looked at the code and been shocked at it. Then, if you do manage to get in, there is no apparent way to delete the account you are forced to set up to get an accurate rate quote. Then there was the cost of producing this drek. $634,320,919.00! This is more then it cost Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or LinkedIn to build their sites.

To top it all off, even if you manage to get through this fiasco, there will be no guarantee that you have actually enrolled. Come January, you could find yourself being fined and not having any insurance. Of course, Obama and the Democrats won’t hear of any issues, even though they were warned months ago that there was major problems. Nope, it was slam it in and the hell with the serfs! We know what’s good for them.

Obamacare was rammed through using legislative tricks and upheld by the Roberts court in a blatantly unconstitutional manner. Roberts caved in to pressure from the Washington elite and gave them what they wanted. Is it any wonder people are growing angrier and angrier every day? Even the Moonbats who thought this was a great idea are finding out what it really means with thousands of dollars they weren’t paying before now being forced from them.

I have heard people say that this could be the equivalent of the Kansas-Nebraska Act. ((The Kansas-Nebraska Act of 1854)) For those of you weak on American History, which is everyone these days, that was the act that allowed slavery to spread, and it to was rammed through by a Democrat Majority. This act was one of the major causes of the American Civil War. What is it about Democrats and wanting to own slaves? They’ve been trying to reinstate slavery since 1865. Now they aren’t just interested in re-enslaving African Americans, now they want to make everyone slaves to the Political Elites.

Obamacare is a disaster, a disgrace and an utter failure, just as I and many other have foreseen. It need to be killed dead before it kills us.
