Good day all. Recently, the Cankled One, (Hillary Clinton), stated that she had never received a subpoena from the Benghazi panel. Well, it seems that once again, she has misstated the facts.
Representative Trey Gowdy, (R-S.C.) finally had enough of Clinton’s lies and brought out the “big guns” as it were. He produced the actual subpoena. Here are the details from Fox News:
House Republicans investigating the 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya, on Wednesday released a March subpoena issued to Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton, one day after she said in a nationally televised interview that she “never had a subpoena” in the email controversy.
Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., chairman of the Benghazi panel, said he had “no choice” but to make the subpoena public “in order to correct the inaccuracy” of Clinton’s claim.
Correct the inaccuracy is a nice way of saying bald faced lie.
Clinton told CNN on Monday that she “never had a subpoena,” adding: “Everything I did was permitted by law and regulation.”
Can Hillary Clinton, the “Smartest Women in all herstory, (That’s not a typo), really think that her lies aren’t going to catch up with her eventually? Yeah, she probably does. Now the reason for the subpoena is simple. Cankles has refused to hand over all the information, emails, records, etc. That she is required to by law. In fact, she has gone out of her way to destroy anything that could be construed as “Bad for Hillary Clinton.
Gowdy and other Republicans have complained that Clinton and the State Department have not been forthcoming with release of her emails and note that the State Department has said it cannot find in its records all or part of 15 work-related emails from Clinton’s private server.
That server is another sore point. Cankles used it for official government business in violation of, oh a bazillion laws and regulations, then had the server erased so she wouldn’t be able to comply with demands for email. There was also the other issue of securing the server. Considering that some of the emails in question were located elsewhere, (Funny thing about email, it leaves a trail all over the place), and were classified by the State Department, Clinton’s statements that her private server wasn’t used for State Dept. business proves that she lied again.
Gowdy has said the missing emails raise “serious questions” about Clinton’s decision to erase her personal server, especially before it could be analyzed by an independent third-party arbiter.
Destruction of evidence is something of a specialty for Cankles Clinton. She’s been doing it for decades, and the only reason it hasn’t caught up with her until now is due simply to the Mostly Stupid Media covering up for her.
The Democrats on Gowdy’s investigative committee of have running interference for Hillary since day one of the investigation. The last thing they want is proof that Cankles and Der Fubar’s actions in Libya were blatantly illegal and caused the deaths of four Americans. The worst case scenario for Hillary would be not so much a smoking gun, as a mushroom cloud of proof of her crimes.
Then Obama would have to make a choice. Throw her under the bus or issue her and a few other full pardons. If he did that, he would probably be looking at outright impeachment and removal. (Unless the Democrats are utterly corrupt and would allow even murder to go unpunished. What am I thinking? Of course they would)
In any case, the drip, drip, drip of evidence coming out may force Clinton to finally bow out of the race, and cause her to seek a new home for herself, Bill and Chelsea. Someplace comfortable with no extradition to the United States.
