Good day all. This story came out a week ago. It seems that as John Kerry and Barack Obama were busy surrendering to Iran, an Iranian court has fined the United States $50 billion dollars.
You might be asking the immortal question, “WTF, Over?” You aren’t alone. The reasons for this bogus fine are as idiotic as you would expect coming from Iran. Here are the details from the Free Beacon:
An Iranian court on Monday issued a ruling fining the United States $50 billion for purported damages against the Islamic Republic and its citizens, according to an announcement by Iran’s Judiciary. Iran claims that the United States is guilty of inflicting “heavy loss and damage” on the country, as well as “killing the Iranian nationals by assisting their enemies,” such as former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, according to Iran’s state-controlled Fars News Agency.
The ruling charges “the U.S. administration with the payment of a total 50-billion-dollar fine for the losses it has incurred on real and legal entities,” according to Fars. A spokesman for Iran’s Judiciary was quoted as saying during a press conference in Tehran that “those who had filed a lawsuit against the U.S., their complaints have been processed.”
Where should I start? How about 1979 and the outright act of war committed by Iran when it stormed our embassy and held the staff hostage for 444 days? And then there are the countless terrorist attacks sponsored by or committed by Iran against the United States.
Normally I would tell you “Good luck collecting that Sparky” but that would mean we had a President who actually supported the United States and wasn’t a mole for Iran and Islam. I fully expect that useless moron to try and pay off the judgment. I have no doubt King Putt will call up Jacob Lew and tell him to just cut a check, never mind he has absolutely no authority to do so. It’s not like he has to concern himself with Congress.
