Good day all. Just after I finished up my last post, I went to see if the Trump event was still on Fox. Instead they were talking about something that just happened. Someone apparently grabbed Trump as he was finishing his speech.
Trump suddenly turned around to see what was going on and the Secret Service moved on to the stage and surrounded trump while looking into the crowd. Nothing more happened and Trump turned back to the mikes to finish up, and the Detail moved off.
Right now it isn’t known if this was just an overenthusiastic Trump supporter or if someone was actually trying to do something to Donald Trump. Judging from the way things calmed down, I suspect it was the former, and we had someone who was just a bit to enthusiastic. No doubt he or she will get a stern talking to.
If it had been someone with bad intentions, I think the Secret Service would have moved Trump off the stage immediately, and people in the crowd would have jumped whoever the troublemaker was. After last night, and the threats from the left, people really do think they might try to go after “The Donald.” That would be a very bad mistake on their part. Last night’s antics by the Moonbats probably will ad 5 points to Trump’s poll numbers.
