How can we miss that drunken, orange colored RINO crybaby when he won’t go away? Yes, I’m talking about former Speaker of the House John Boehner. This morning he came out and said he would back Paul Ryan, his replacement as Speaker, for the GOP(e) Nomination.
Boehner, who was basically run out of the House on a rail, continues his RINO ways with this announcement. Here are the details regarding his latest drunken ravings from Politico:
Former Speaker John Boehner said Paul Ryan should be the Republican nominee for president if the party fails to choose a candidate on the first ballot.
“If we don’t have a nominee who can win on the first ballot, I’m for none of the above,” Boehner said at the Futures Industry Association conference here. “They all had a chance to win. None of them won. So I’m for none of the above. I’m for Paul Ryan to be our nominee.”
Wading into the GOP nominating battle for the first time since leaving office last fall, Boehner said that “anybody can be nominated” at the convention in Cleveland this summer. Boehner, who now splits his time between Florida, Ohio and D.C., had long whispered to friends that he believes Ryan could be the party’s political savior if it came to that. But Boehner never said it publicly until now.
In the same question-and-answer session here, Boehner referred to Ted Cruz as “lucifer.” He previously called the Texas senator, who led the failed Republican effort to shut down the government over Obamacare, a “jackass.”
Boehner is considered to be a failed Speaker. He constantly rolled over for Obama and his insults, threats and retaliation against the Tea Party and Constitutional Conservatives in the House finally lead to an outright mutiny. His original choice to replace him as Speaker, Eric Cantor, was booted out in his primary in 2014. This led to Paul Ryan being named Speaker, and he has been a massive disappointment, basically giving Obama everything he wanted, just like the Crybaby.
Like all of the RINO’s in the GOP(e), Boehner thinks that a brokered convention will be the way to keep the Establishment Republicans in power. As usual, he, like the GOP(e) power brokers, have completely missed what is going on. Boehner is irrelevant and his attempt to force another RINO, one who didn’t get one single vote in the primaries on the Republican party will lead to it’s complete collapse. Someone hand the Crybaby a case of scotch and invite him to drink himself to death please.
