The U.N. calls for gun control in America

Good day all. As expected, the Progressive Liberal Democrats are calling for suppression of the 2nd Amendment as well as the 5th Amendment. (A few idiot Republicans are on that bandwagon as well) Now we have the United Nations calling for “Robust Gun Control.”

UN Bluehat

The United Nations, an organization most Americans hold in contempt, is run by totalitarian, one world elitists who, frankly, despise everything the United States stands for. They have worked for decades to end American’s 2nd Amendment rights, and with the latest terrorist attack, they have once again called for taking guns away from Americans. Here are the details from CNS News:

The United Nations’ human rights chief called on the United States Tuesday to enforce more effective gun control measures in the aftermath of the Orlando terrorist attack, dismissing as “irresponsible pro-gun propaganda” the notion that firearms make societies safer.

U.N. human rights commissioner Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein urged the U.S. government to live up to its obligations to protect citizens from the “horrifyingly commonplace but preventable violent attacks that are the direct result of insufficient gun control.”

Oh that’s amusing on so many levels. The United Nations High Commissioner on Human Rights, Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein is a prince in the Hashemite Dynasty of Jordan. A country that isn’t exactly a prime example of democracy. Excuse me while I laugh. HA HA HA.

Examples from many countries clearly show that a legal framework to control the acquisition and use of firearms has led to a dramatic reduction in violent crime,” said Zeid.

eye roll

Sure, in places that are totalitarian police states. Places like France or Germany or the rest of Europe? Yeah, not so much.

In the United States, however, there are hundreds of millions of guns in circulation, and every year thousands of people are killed or injured by them.”

An awful lot of those are, unfortunately, suicides. Others are people using them to defend themselves. Then we have criminals who are using them for, wait for it, criminal activities. The guns they use? Well guess what? Most of them are obtained illegally, just like the ones used in the French terrorist attacks in the last year.

Zeid deplored what he called the ease with which individuals can buy firearms in America – “in spite of prior criminal backgrounds, drug use, histories of domestic violence and mental illness, or direct contact with extremists – both domestic and foreign.”

Let’s see just how wrong he is here. First, people with criminal backgrounds have lost their rights under the 2nd Amendment after due process. (That would be the 5th Amendment) Second, everyone who buys a gun in a store or gun show has to go through the background check. Since almost everyone this moron just listed would be precluded from buying a gun, the only way they could get one would be through illegal means, like the terrorists did in France.

How many more mass killings of school-children, of co-workers, of African-American churchgoers, how many more individual shootings of talented musicians like Christina Grimmie, or politicians like Gabrielle Giffords, will it take before the United States adopts robust gun regulation?” he asked.

As of right now, the murder of Ms. Grimmie is still being investigated. We don’t know yet what the reason for the attack was, although it was probably a stalker. As to Gabbie Giffords? That was a mentally ill nutcase that, due to the laws, was out on the street instead of a mental hospital, Again, that pesky American Constitution.

There is also the problem of “gun free zones.” All of the crimes this camel molester just listed, with the possible exception of the Giffords shooting, occurred in places where only the criminals, or terrorists had guns. In places where someone else had a gun, most of the attacks were stopped cold or short circuited.

Others contend that had some nightclub goers been legally armed, they may have been able to stop the terrorist.

The U.N.’s Zeid challenged the thinking behind that view. “Irresponsible pro-gun propaganda suggests that firearms make society safer, when all evidence points to the contrary,” he said.

And where did he the information that led him to this erroneous conclusion come from? I’ll give you three guesses, but you’ll only need one.

Zeid cited a recent report from his office on the question of human rights and civilian access to firearms. Its conclusions include a call for governments to regulate the acquisition and possession of firearms.

So, when will that report on the UN “Peacekeepers” who have been raping children be issued? You know, the one where parents have no access to guns and can’t protect their sons and daughters from the United Nations ever so helpful bureaucrats and heavily armed troops?

Human rights law requires [member] States to protect people from harmful private activities and to adopt appropriate regulatory and institutional frameworks,” the report reads.

In the light of the harmful impact of firearms-related violence on a range of human rights, the High Commissioner reiterates the call of United Nations and regional human rights mechanisms for States to regulate the civilian acquisition, possession and use of firearms.”

In other words, confiscate all firearms from people in order to prevent them from doing things like shooting child molesting UN Peacekeepers.

nothing to see here

It’s not the first time that Zeid, a former Jordanian diplomat who became U.N.’s top rights official in 2014, has commented on domestic policy issues in the United States.

In a speech in Cleveland, Ohio last April he condemned “bigotry” and the “demonizing” of minorities in the U.S. presidential campaign.

Those “Minorities” he’s talking about? Why that would be the Radical Islamic terrorists such as the one who shot up that club in Florida last weekend.

In his comments Tuesday on the Orlando shooting, Zeid also called it “reprehensible” and “dangerous” that the attack was “already being utilized to promote homophobic and Islamophobic sentiments.”

headdesk

The ones screaming about homophobia are not generally people the average American pays any attention to. No one here tolerates physical attacks on homosexuals. Most people might not like them, but they aren’t going to go out and shoot up a gay bar.

In those rare cases where someone beats up a person due to their sexual proclivities, provided that person wasn’t in the process of committing a crime to satisfy those proclivities, the attacker will be prosecuted to the maximum extent of the law. How does that work in Islamic countries under Sharia Law? Oh yeah. Homosexuality is punishable by death. They’ve been hanging homosexuals in Iran for quite a while, and ISIS likes to toss them off roofs to see how high they bounce. (Usually they just go splat)

muhammed

As to this garbage about “Islamophobia? Hate to break to you, but all the recent attacks, going back before 9/11 have been perpetrated by, wait for it, MUSLIMS!! Not Buddhists, not Jews, not Christians and certainly not by Sikhs.

sikhs

“I urge everyone in the United States to rally around the common cause of ensuring that the human rights, and consequentially the security, of all are strengthened in the aftermath of this horrendous incident,” Zeid said.

UN_helmet-bullet-holes

And you would like this done by suppressing the Constitutional rights of Americans? Good luck with that you little twerp. There is a reason the 2nd Amendment was written over 200 years ago. It was to make sure that the citizens of the United States had the means to protect themselves from people like you. Why don’t you do us all a favor and go back to Jordan and leave us alone?

I fully support that cause and thus encourage everyone to obtain a gun and the training to use it safely and effectively.
